Khaushalya has had so so many opportunities to stand up for her daughters. Honestly the only time i have seen her speak up for any of her children was for shivam when he was accused of stealing shantis ring. Even then it was pretty mediocre. A mother should know how to protect her cubs- not just against the outside world but even against their own family members and even against their own father. Shes a mother for heaven sake and yet she has never once put her fear of shanti or raghav aside and protected them. In fact- her KIDS were the ones taking the fall for her all the time in the beginning. So shameful, she should feel ill in herself.As for Shivam and Riya- this story had SO much potential not just to be a good revenge story, but an epic love story between a boy who finally turns into a man and can stand for his love and a girl who can hold her own in the face of such evil. It could have been such an awesome love story whilst still focussing on the whole modern bahu element and there could have been bucket loads of sexual tension. I actually love the pairing of ekta and karam- they are such a sexy couple just looking at them- but the writers have obliterated everything. Such a shame.
I agree . I really love Karam and Ekta's jodi. There could have been so great sexy moments between Shivya, but like you said thanks to the writers, they have managed to destroy these characters especially Shivam's. Karam has so much potential and they making him play Shivam lol. I actually watched the show coz of Karam and EKta. I really loved their cute moments , they look great together. Tbh Shivam was much nicer to Riya before marriage than after. That jealousy moment, the way he went to Riya's house in the middle of night when it was raining.Awww Shivya had so much potential.
As for Kaushalya well she is really mean and ofcourse she cannot become the next shantiya as she lacks the brains for it. But she could be worse than her because she is an idiot and hypocrite. She could not even stand for Preeti when she was getting verbally abused by her inlaws but suddenly all her courage comes back when she has to degrade RIya. And the way she chose to ignore the love of Shivam and forcefully emotionally blackmail him to get rid of Riya from his heart was just too shameful and evil. And SHivam well, he needs some anger management asap and a 101 tutorial on how to be an adult.
Kaushalya has literally become heartless and more evil than Shantiya now, She has called Riya ''bin maa ki bacchi'' so many times and not once in a sympathetic way but always when she has to emotionally guilt trip Riya or blame Riya. She used to claim that she loved Riya like a daughter. Well when have you even treated her like a human . You send ur sonny to take money from her, yet always you chose to blame her for everything wrong that happens in ur family.
Ugh Like I said before the whole shrivastav family r a bunch of hypocrites who go blind deaf mute when their own blood is in the wrong, but treat their bahu like an outsider and a punching bag to vent out their anger and frustrations on her
