Chapter 4
We will have a contract marriage.
"What" taani shouted thinking he had gone mad, the people in cafe turned n saw her n taani realized they r in public place n mumbled sorry.
"What r u saying mr.Singhania"? Taani asked angrily thinking wht is happening to her life first his father forced her to agree for the marriage with his son.now his son want a contract marriage. Wht problem these singhanias have with me. Why they r playing with my life.
"I know ur shocked after listening to me but think calmly". Rey said knowing she must be shocked n upset with the happenings
"How can i think calmly mr.Singhania when some one came n tell me to have a contract marriage". Taani snapped at him how could she can be calm.
"Listen taani" taani cut him off n said "u listen mr.singhania yeh shaadi hai koi majak nahi. Agar aapko shaadi nahi karna toh mana kardijiye. Par hum koi contract marriage nahi karne waali hoon" n start to leave.but stopped when some one gripped her wrist she turn to see rey was gripping her wrist in his hand n looking at her angrily
"I didnt completed what i want to say. So sit n listen to me n dare u try to leave again". Rey said gritting his teeth trying not to shout at her. Taani looked at him n got lil scared looking at his eyes which were warm before now is spitting fire.so she sat silently not wanting to be the object of his wrath.
Rey looked at her scared form n closed his eyes to control his anger n composed himself n openned his eyes n said "If i want i can reject for this marriage but my dad will get another rishta for me. N u have to pay the heavy amount of debt to my father n i know u cant pay it now". Taani looked at him n she know he is right but how could he ask for a contract marriage. Rey looked at her n continued "me n u both r poles apart taani we could never be in one relationship. In this way we could give what my dad want n after that we can pat our ways n live our life".
Taani looked at him n asked for some time he think it is all so simple but she will be the one who will suffer in all this n she need some time to prepare herself for this rollar coaster ride of her life.
"Ok taani but dont take much time because my father is thinking about our engagement" rey said taani eyes widen in surprise n thought her life is moving very fast n said "i will leave now". "I will drop u" said rey. Taani said "no" n left with out waiting for his reply. She want to leave from there she felt suffocated.
Taani sat in her room with her parents photo in her hand thinking how her life become.she never dreamed of a prince who will come on white horse n sweep her of her feet. She always want a person who will love her,cherish her n take care of her. But look at her life it became a deal to singhania's both r using her n she hate that she cant do anything other than do wht they r saying.
Taani heard the door open n looked at the person. More tears rolled down n she went n envoloped the person in tight hug n said "i missed u so much sneha". She missed her best friend very much she is the only person with whom she could share her sarrow n cry her heart out.
"What happen taani? Why r u crying? Sneha asked broking the hug nlooked at her bf n saw her red puffy eyes,her dark circles n her eyes which always shine with hope n livliness r now blank .she is looking like shattered doll.
She made taani sit n gave her a glass of water she drank n gulped her tears n composed her self. "What happen taani?". Sneha asked. Taani eyes teared up again n she said"im missing ma,papa".she felt guilt lying to her bf she dont want to make her sad. Sneha looked at taani n know she is lying n asked sternly this time "what is the matter taani.n dont lie to me or i will call sameer" she dont want to threaten her but she know taani wont tell her truth that easily.
What happen to the people in the world everyone is blackmailing her. She know sneha very well if she dont tell her she will call sameer n she dont want him to know about her complicated life n she cant even tell sneha about debt n contract marriage n taani thought some thing n said "ok i will tell u". N said "my father fixed my marriage n i got to know about this so i was missng them as they r not with me to give their blessings" sneha didnt convinced with her explanation but didnt probe her thinking maybe she is realling missing them n said "dont cry taani aunty n uncle's blessings always will be with u. N now smile i want my bf back who is bubbly n wierd. Taani looked at with fake anger n said i m not wied tum wierd ho n they start to fight after 30min both were sat on sofa laughing. Sneha said "haste rehna taani tujhe rota hua chehra accha nahi lagta agar meri jeejaji tujhe rota hua dekha toh shaadi keliye mana karega". Taani laugh subsided after listening about marriage.
Sneha tapped taani shoulders looking at her lost n asked wht happen taani nodded nothing. Did u met my jeejaji,how is he,how he looks tell na taani.sneha asked winking Taani dont know wht to say how her jeejaji is so she said "he is good".
