- Here's good news for people in Uttar Pradesh and also for team Sarbjit. UP government has declared Sarbjit film as tax-free. Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav, who met with the team earlier in the month, said that the decision will be implemented with immediate effect.
Elated and overjoyed, Actor & Producer of Sarbjit, Jackky Bhagnani said, "From day one, we have all believed that Sarbjit is a story that needed to be told. It's our labour of love and the team and I am humbled by Akhilesh Yadav's kind gesture. He has been supportive from the very beginning and this decision has only strengthened our belief in our film"
Directed by Omung Kumar film 'Sarbjit' is slated to release on 20th May 2016.
