We saw a glimpse of Revati's past wid Shekhar. It lukd like Revati was more feminine n naive in d past. She loved milky coffee wid lots of sugar n romcom instead black-bitter coffee n action movies. Her bf wud force to change against her wishes n she wud do it. Then a year later, he broke up wid her widout any explanations. Why did Revati remained wid him for a year in d 1st place? Why did not she walked out on her own before he broke up wid her? Dat time she had a simple boycut hair n wore simple casual clothes unlike her present spiky unever hair n bold clothes. How was Revati before broke up? Do modern girls like Revati suffer in abusive relationship in reality? Plz discuss n give ur views. Dis forum hardly discusses abt Revati n Guru or anyone of them.

I don't think modern girls suffer in abusive relationship. But from what we saw in revati's flashback one thing is clear that shekar is a complete jerk. And revati loved him so much that she was ready to accept wat he says or change herself for him. I think she didn't wanted to lose him and almost every girl would never want her relationship to end. But besides doing this much to him, he left her and that would've definitely broken her heart. I think that's the reason she is impulsive and rude and carefree girl now not to forget drinks.

As we saw in the falshback he was forcing her to change herself and broke up with her without any explanation or reason...
There are many guys today who want to dominate their partner and treat them like their puppet...its just their ego what make them do that..but rave was hopelessly in love with her and even today she must not love him but had not overcome him...thats why she thinks all boys are jerk . Her past has made her strong and independent.

We need more flashbacks to know abt everything. Who knows Revati may have tried to walk out in dis 1 year but dat jerk Shekhar wud convince her to remain wid him wid his temporary apology n emotional blackmails? Wen Rave wud make up her mind to leave him several times like other abusive lovers n husbands he wud beg her to stay saying dat he can't live widout her n he will change. Then Rave wud melt n not leave him. It actually happens in real life. Now, I don't blame Revati for shouting at Guru who gifted her salwar-kameez. She truly thought dat he wants to change her. It wud have reminded her of Shekhar who was changing her as he liked. She did not wanted to be in dat position again. D girl who loved milky coffee wid lots of sugar n who had a hard time in gulping black-bitter coffee is shown drinking now n then. Alcohol is also very bitter na. Wonder how she really changed so much? Hope we see more of her backstory.

Yes modern girls like revati do suffer from abusive relationship as because the the main point here is feelings. Feelings always remains the same be it for a naive girl from small town or a bold independent girl like revati. Only their way to deal with problems changes. They are also equally hurt when they go through any such phrase of their lives...
