I am more than definitely sure that never ending rivulets of fresh tears would have been rolling down our hopeless swasan's eyes right through out the episode...after all it was sheer brilliance enacted in an even more aesthetic and dexterous fashion by our dear Mr. Perfectionist Varun kapoor.
Well coming to the post, I composed it basically with the intention of discovering the depths and theories attached to the magniloquent term TRUE LOVE!
What is true love after all?
A saccharin , mawkish type over dramatic element or a liberating , empowering , healing and heavenly force which transforms any pessimistic into a hard core optimistic, any futilitarian into a man with an indefatigable spirit ready to fight the world out...what is love actually?
Like I said before in some post sanskar maheshwari has literally surpassed every paragon of true love be it romeo, majnu, leander, troilus, or any holder of "epitome of true love" status.
Love is never weak , or conceited or hapless, instead it is endowed with unwavering spirit and an indomitable spirit which continues to hope even though all that the ruthless world around has contributed in ,is morbidly crushing that hopes into a thousand pieces!
The initial sanskar , clinging on tenaciously to that SS locket , as if it was the ventilator which was inducing oxygen in his now malfunctioning lungs..and indeed it was.
His reminiscing of her last words which now were indelibly etched in his heart was irrefutably a very poignant and beautiful moment.
Then he proceed to embrace her bangles which had become her prized-possession and the saree which had adored her during their most beautiful night!❤️
The expressions given by VK gave a truly fascinating power to this scene , especially when the camera focused on his blood-red , swollen eyes moist with never-ending tears yet retaining the gleam of a lover , yes the same sparkle which embellishes a lover's eyes when his beloved is right infront of his eyes. But here swara is nowhere...yet he begins to visualize her ..so should we call it his hallucinations?
No ..not at all...it was the most profound desire of his heart which manifested itself in the form of swara , offering him a whole basket of chocolates this time , perhaps knowing fully well that one piece would not suffice his present state of depression.
Perhaps his mind taking pity of the lamenting heart had wanted him to rejoice for a moment , even if it is only a moment and had shrewdly carved her imagery to provide a momentary relief to his woe-begone heart...ah..and the next second she vanished leaving behind utter cravings and physical pain both to her sanskar and to swsanians!
Then came the wonderfully exquisite scene , where he performed the dance with her again like they had danced that night , overpowered with pure love and happiness and completely oblivious of the thunderstorm about to strike their lives. The difference this time was she existed only in his imagination , rather only in his heart and the heavenly bliss that was so clearly evident on his face , his hand which impromptu came forward to tightly embrace her like it always did and and that fatal realization that the object encircled in those tight arms unlike other times is not swara but mere air , ripped my heart apart and it literally pained...yet it physically caused a lot of anguish..ouch!
The immediate crying which followed it...god..Mr Varun kapoor ..already this character of sanskar is making us undergo an excruciating trauma why do you add on gallons to it by your impeccable performance?
My most favourite part of the episode followed ...yes the cosmic connection part where the moment some consciousness returned to swara and she started mumbling something , sanskar could literally feel it and was miraculously assured that she was very much alive and was safe as well. This is love , almost next second he got down with a clear , decisive instinct that swara was alive and he has to find her.
This is what true love is, it never makes one vulnerable to negativity rather it strengthens the most feeble souls and enables them to intrepidly fight everyone , everything around which separates them from their other half.
He has not turned into devdas and will never because true love never obliterates hope and passion which fundamentally resides in every human being , rather it rekindles and amplifies one's hope making it a certain decision and action.
Sanskar here is completely sure that his swara is alive and though he has been morose , he has never left even an iota of the hope that swara is alive and will be doing everything possible to reopen the case and to find her back...whatever be the case but love has made him stronger , not weaker.
When kavita apparently died , he instantly resorted to revenge and exhausted nearly 5 years of in life in futile vengeance and acrimony but here the loss didn't trigger even a small part of those malevolent forces !
He is ready to stake anything to make the others believe that even though his soulmate's subtle call cannot be recorded in wordly terms or in those police inspector's files , yet that call is irrefutable and he knows , no matter what the others say that swara is alive and he would get her back!
Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes- A walk to remember
This is what true love is , it makes one perfect , hopeful and overwhelmingly powerful!
It never pushes one into the abyss of haplessness and bitterness , rather it transcends and uplifts one into the paradise of the highest accord and purges one of all the vices that ever corrupted their soul...this is what true love is .<3
