Got an email from SONY TV CEO's office as a reply to my query posted to them yesterday.
Guys CID will be back very soon. More creative and revamped.
The email goes like this...
Hi
Thank you for your writing in to us. Since the first few episodes of our new show - The Kapil Sharma Show, are longer episodes, we have to drop CID. CID is not going to be on its regular time for few weeks. We are taking some time to work on it and we will come back soon with a better and more powerful CID. We will write to you with details of the show's schedule in a week or two.
We are proud of brand CID and delighted to have audiences like you who follow this series with so much love. We will continue to nurture and build the show.
