And then there is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt. OML the torture.

The Godfather is 2nd best rated film on imdb, it is based on gangster, why get disgusted with indian film makers. This isn't glorifying, it's a art, cinema.

Reason why I don't even watch this movie.
What is it with BW and glorifying criminals? Ekta specially does it time and again!!
Once upon a Mumbai 1 and 2, now this.🤢

I don't really mind the fictionized or loosely based versions, tbh. With them there's a 'take it with a pinch of salt' aspect. Take it or leave it kinds. But when it's a proper biopic, then the dynamics change, a lot of responsibility is added in, and the repulsiveness/fondness (acc to indv choices) increases.

So? Just because HW does it and has a successful movie on a gangster, I am not allowed to be disgusted?
It is glorifying when facts are manipulated to paint a criminal otherwise.
My opinion and my emotions to get disgusted seeing criminals get such a platform.

Sure.
Most of the movies have antagonists.
But it's also assumed they are fictitious. And most of the villains pay for their deeds in the movie aka Good winning over Evil.
The same isn't applicable when it comes to real life criminals and douches who use the platform to rectify their messed up image.
Losers. Won't be long till we see a movie on Salman and how innocent, naive and big hearted he is. 🤢
