Azhar Second Day Business

Azhar was flat on day two as the growth came in Delhi city, East Punjab and Mysore while other areas were flat or down a little. The two day business of Azhar is as follows

Friday - 6,25,00,000

Saturday - 6,50,00,000 apprx

Total - 12,75,00,000

The film had to show bigger growth really though major multiplexes did grow on Saturday it was not the type of growth required. Sunday should be better and the Monday will have to show strong hold if it is to have any chance to take advantage of this 2-3 week period of few major releases.

Film's fate is now locked, it won't be a hit, lack of good music & star appeal this biopic is going to fail at box office.

This will be emraan's 6th flop past few yrs, he is coming back in murder 4 & raaz reloaded, at 1 time he was having good mass appeal by working in raaz & murder series, also jannat, these new films should help his career.

IMO EH's heydays are over. An official Azhar biopic was a bad idea anyway as Azhar was never going to let them be honest about him. His mistakes are still fresh in the minds of most Indians even today for the audience to actually buy it.

The Raaz poster looked interesting but I feel the Bhatt-EH combo has run its course. Tseries is using the same model of business ie good music and kissing and sex scenes. Also kissing/sex scenes are common in BW and there is no charm left in them. Raaz can click only if it has an interesting story to tell.

Raaz 4 is now directed by vikram bhatt who has directed 1 & 3, raaz is now a good brand. It will have better result than emraan's previous films.
