If you rile a tigeress, she will bound to show her claws...
Kali has turned into a tigress. She is more than a delight to watch onscreen these days. What a transformation. And Manjiri too. You have one tigress ready to do anything to ensure her cub is protected and you have another tigress who is ready to endure any obstacles for the safety of her tiger😆.
Kali has always believed in doing the right thing regardless of how badly she has been treated as a consequence. She has been backstabbed by the girl for whom she was willing to even her life for, and had done in the past. That very girl betrayed her and that was her reward. HOWEVER, even then she kept a ray of hope in her heart that Gauri will see sense and therefore Kali pleaded her case before Gauri and all when she returned to the altar but Gauri did not budge, because Gauri could not allow her ego to bruise for even a second. Kali could no longer recognise Gauri's new roop. She always knew Gauri was selfish but deep down she believed Gauri had some principles installed in her and would never do such a dirty trick on her. How wrong was Kali? How bittersweet is reality?
Manjiri then came into the picture. Manjiri always had to face what Kali is about to face in her life, but not once did she feel jealous or insecure. Her own flesh and blood had betrayed her, but despite that she stood firm by her husband. A husband who did not value her love but she knew he loved her in his own ways. And then she found Kali and Yug's love. From the very moment she saw the two together she knew the two were destined to be one and that no one on this Universe could separate them. But alas his wedding was fixed elsewhere and both had denied to accept their love. But Yug finally openly shouts how much he loves Kali, but Kali elected to let her actions speak rather than her words. An action that was about to backfire on her behind really harshly.
Their wedding day arrived, the happiest day of their lives. But little did they know it was about to turn their lives upside down. And then the truth slapped them both harshly on their faces leaving them stunned. They did not know what to do. Kali cried her innocence but Yug did not budge because he believed his eyes over his heart. He was so easily manipulated, that it shattered her completely. How could he not believe her, when he had promise to stand by her no matter what? She shouts and screams how much she loves him but he remains adamant that she scarified him. She can no longer cope and collapses, losing all the will to live. Then she wakes up believing it to be her nightmare. Manjiri tells her it was no nightmare and she has indeed been backstabbed by her own loved ones.
"You must not fight too often with one enemy, or you will teach him all your art of war."
Manjiri for the first time, steps up to the role she dedicated herself from the first moment she came across Kali, that of a mother. And she plans, plots and succeeds. She took the perfect path, if a war was being won by a certain weapon, why change the weapon? Why not use it to tackle the enemy? She fulfilled promise number 1 and got Kali to her sasural with full respect.
How beautifully was Mahabarat explained to Kali when doubts descended her morals? It was the perfect example. Her transformation post that has been brilliant. She is still very hesitant because now she is on the full front of the line of fire. The man for whom she is doing this tells her she is now dead for him. He may aswell have stabbed her in her heart, as his words did just that. But she does not lose hope, because earlier in their arguments he told her he was pissed off at her for calling herself a kaala teeka. Yug's trust was never strong enough on Kali and this track is meant to strengthen that, I hope. When they have their first eye contact in their house, she was pleading with him with her eyes, begging him to understand and believe her and he almost does but walks out. She even begged him in the bedroom. She saw a shadow of hope when he stepped into her current guestroom. He went there because he wanted her to prove him wrong, but when she didn't say anything he felt so angry that he wanted to hurt her just like he was hurting so he shouted his Sita was dead. She was left gobsmacked. But it was evident his intention was to hurt her for hurting him. What is eye boggling for an audience is Yug being stupid in not believing her especially when she said it again to him that he married her and her only.
Gauri remains oblivious to reality and continues to believe she has truly married Kali. She is so childlike that you can almost pity her but then she makes comments like I AM GOING TO MAKE HIM HATE YOU SO MUCH THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BEAR IT". When she went to flaunt her sari, Kali was clearly hurt but the mannerism in which she tackled Gauri was a delight. The way she scared her into thinking there were insects in the container of rice was hilarious. What a tight slap to Leela, she did all of those plotting for nothing as Kali got her rightful place as the bahu of the household and even lit every lamp in front of her in law's ancestors. Leela was left gobsmacked. The irony was beyond hilarious.
I guess the makers are not interested in building chemistry b/w KaYu at present, and that is why their close scenes or important scenes are not getting a BG score. But they do not require any BG to showcast their amazing chemistry. They honestly look like a couple made for each other, Gauri just looked so misplaced standing near them.😳

For Simran. I am so proud of her. It is unfortunate she is not a regular on networking sites as I would have loved to compliment her. She has come such a long way.
