One word for Manoj Bajpai: Outstanding

He smoked Irfan and Nawaz out of the water with his role in Aligarh. If you have not seen it yet it's available on Einthusan to watch. The way he walked, behaved, delivered his dialogues, that accent and the heart he put into it was just superb. It was a thing of beauty.

Too bad he won't win any awards but to me watching him act was a treat to watch and more than winning awards just his performance raises that bar so high for anyone else to follow or top that.

For me , best film of this year , I liked it more than Neerja . He deserves the national award for sure .. No actor in last 5 years have been this good in any movies

I so agree with you. He was FANTASTIC. I seriously thought i was watching Prof Siras on screen..very seeet..very vulnerable

.Manoj was so good with each of his emotions. He is gem of an actor..very underrated. I do wish he gets NA next year.

everyone was gaga over srk in fan like its a masterpiece when he have a master rite here in manoj. he deserves all the awards but won't get them.

They say SRK should still win Filmfare despite Fan flopped

Allright. Aligarh flopped too. But had more praised and acclaimed performance by Manoj Bajpai. Then why not give it to him?

LOL. Notice how I mentioned Nawaz and Irfan and didnt even mentioned SRK. It would be absolute disrespect for these 2 to include SRK in that list. Im a huge fan of Nawaz and Irfan acting but Bajpai ate them alive for lunch with Aligarh

Im not sure how people liked his performance. He hammed it.
