The evening breeze came with a news, hopefully a light bubbly news that she was going to meet her destined love,AGAIN. She was unaware of it.
Sanyukta Agarwal, the girl with an almond shaped face, waist length coal black hairs and a warm amber brown eyes that shines golden brown in the shower of sun rays,Oh the beautiful smile that attracts anyone and her uneven teeth has its own charm.
She stood in the balcony of her two floored house, which was less than a home, because her mother had recently expired and the fact that still wwasn't over it was evident in her lost eyes. Sanyukta still had a tug in her heart, like something gnawing her soul, she needed support, now that she was all alone.
Twenty three is an age where all the cool guys looked younger to her and the older guys were too older.None had the charm to take her to their worlds except for one guy, only one guy.He was Randhir Shekhawat.
He was the college stud and genius who could never be beaten until she entered his life. He was well-built, broad shoulders, serious face that brightens up with a cute smile and a coal black eyes that always seemed warmer to her.
"NOO, not again, Randhir, you can't mess with me again, I'm tired of having you, losing you and again having you, exhausted I am with this!"
She sat near the balcony resting her head to the wall, her life had taken a 180 degree turn, her love was lost, her mother had abandoned her through death, her father was on a business tour who seemed to have lost in his own world after having lost his wife. Her brother was now married to her college friend-foe Vidushi who was an absolute brat, they were on their 4th honeymoon.
Sanyuktha was alone in this huge palace, like a princess with a broken heart! But there was another soul in the same palace,it merely was only the soul...
" Parth's medication time ." There was a reminder that popped up in sanyukta's cell-phone. She stood up, a bit hazily and darted to the room where Parth lay.
Parth was her college closest friend who wass just and fair but a college experiment had rendered him paralysed, he could barely speak or move. Sanyukta had given up on her higher studies and machines to look after Parth, to her, it was her incompetency towards being a proper mechanical engineer that Parth was almost dead, the guilt weighed more than anything else in the world to her.
She raced down to the room that was adjacent to the kitchen and helped him gulp down the medicines.
"Sorry, Parth..Very sorry.I have been irresponsible all these years.I'm not made for engineering" She cried with pain in her heart while she braved up a beautiful smile and caressed Parth's ruffled hairs.
There was nothing but a warm look from Parth as if telling her that it was not her fault and that it was okay.
She hurried to the kitchen and put on her apron.
"This is what I'm made for!" she grimaced as a few tears escaped her worried self as she took the vegetables from the refrigerator and started to cut them in dices.
"Farzi! You and cooking?" Sanyukta heard a familiar warm voice that made her heart skip.
"Randhir!" She widened her eyes to look behind and check him, it had been two long years
"Farzi, I missed you" He said again, she was crumbling down to the floor, her knees were weak.
"Not again Randhir, not again" She cried aloud.
It was all in her brain, this wasn't real! All of this was just a play that seems to be playing in her mind.Randhir had long left her, or had she made him go. Whatever it was,Yet he had remained in her memories. He was going to remain there for a life-time.
"Where are you Randhir?" Sanyukta whispered in an undertone.
------------------------200 kms away-------------------------------
"Sanyukta!...I really miss you"
A guy zooms past the danger zone on a highway has tears in his eyes,he loosened the grip on his helmet and smiled triumphantly.
He was doing something crazy! Way far crazier to forget the only girl who had taken his heart!
