Sid Malhotras intresting line-up

I always liked this guy in terms of looks but somehow felt he lacked that x factor. May be because he has a kinda laid back personality. But after Kapoors and Sons I felt my opinion changing. Sid is slowly but surely rising. He was quite natural as the not so perfect sibling in a middle class family in K&S and despite the presence of a seasoned actor like Fawad he managed to make a mark. And now his line up looks pretty intresting. He has in his kitty

Untitled movie with Jacky - Romcom/Action
Ittefaq with Sona - Thriller/ Murder mystery
A3 with Alia - Romance

This looks like a promising lineup that too with dufferent production houses. I m rly happy to see this guy trying new things just if he works lil more on his expressions and intensity, he can be the nxt big thing.

As a huge Sid fan I feel like years from now he'll have a career similar to Akshay Kumar's. Very successful, solid and secure but probably never be that top superstar a la Khans. Though realistically things are so different now in Bollywood that there might not be another Khan, but I digress.

Not BangBang 2, Aashiqui3 and Ittefaq -his film line-up for release next year is very interesting and different from each other. Sidharth has a big time opportunity to showcase his performance with these films as they all her solo. Chances of his all films doing well at BO are very high if ladyluck doesn't turn it's face on him. I can totally see 2017 as Sidharth's year if he gives terrific performance in them. Massy formula film with all commercial ingredients, romance, suspense thriller -what more can one ask for!
