Kidding around, Lolo?

Karisma Kapoor was supposed to attend an episode of Little Champs, so the kids learnt to sing her film songs. Later she said Kareena would attend, so the kids learnt Kareena's songs. Finally, neither showed up!

Last week, the Kapoor sisters gave a tough time to Zee TV and Little Champs participants.

as a special guest on the show for the episode that will be telecast tonight. Excited, the kids began learning to sing Karisma's film songs.

However, a few days before the shoot, she called up to say that she was indisposed. She however assured the channel that she would send Kareena in her place for the same episode.

Says an insider, "Initially, the kids had prepared all songs from Karisma's films. When they were told that Kareena would be coming, they started preparing songs from Kareena's films."

Two days later, Karisma called up again to say that she would make it to the show. So the kids got busy rehearsing Karisma's songs again. Then, just a few hours prior to the shooting of the episode, Karisma's mother, Babita informed Zee TV that Karisma couldn't attend the shoot.

To start with, the entire preparations went for a toss. The children contestants had to re-do all their songs, not once but thrice over. Finally neither of the sisters showed up.

When the kids eventually learnt that neither Karisma nor Kareena were coming, they had to sing something that they were hardly prepared for. This affected their performance and the episode was in a complete mess.

Sonu Niigaam (one of the judges on the show) was quite upset. "Sonu even had a word with the channel that this was not fair to the kids," the insider adds.

When contacted, Payal Patel, Creative Head of Little Champs, said, "Karisma had viral fever. She could not attend on medical grounds and her mother sent us a text message asking us to excuse her. We were told that Kareena was out of town. The preparations did go awry. Sonu is very upset with us."

Sonu was unavailable for comment.

Well if they have a legitimate excuse then it is acceptable, so long as it is not due to poor planning. These are setbacks which cannot be helped especially if they celebrity is sick. I remember Dia even turned up with a broken arm to meet Aneek. 😆

Why is it necessary that they have to sing songs connected with the celebrity ?

How will they manage if it were to be Kapil Dev or Laloo Prasad Yadav ?

This is stupid.. more from the Channel's side that anyone else... Anyone may get stuck up with work, and if there are genuine reasons that should be acceptable...

Why does any of these reality shows depend so much on the appearance of celebrity guests on their show.. I think Sonu and Suresh'ji are doing a very fine job of being judges and are able to attact all musically inclined viewers - who like all the music minus the drama and the glammer!

Hope Zee has a lesson to learn from this!!

Kapil dev= desi bakthi geet😆

Laoo = folk songs😆
