The Queen babe has left us all confused with her recent tell-all interview...
Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut saga continues. Thankfully we've been spared now that the two parties are not releasing statements through their lawyers. I must also confess that the actress' daring feminist interview was much more interesting and entertaining than some of the Bollywood films that we've watched in theatres, including some of the actress' own work. Everything seemed just perfect as far as Kangana's responses were concerned, some were so daring that I could bet no other top Bollywood heroines would have made those comments. Except that somehow it was too perfect and call me cynical but way too perfectly timed.
Firstly, knowing Kangana we had expected her to speak up at one of the events that she attended post her big fight with Hrithik spilled in the public space. However, the moment chosen was her National Award win, she clearly was the winner celebrating a career best moment. And then you watch the interviews that the actress doled out to two leading news channels and one cannot help but wonder if the questions and the answers were tailor-made. It was almost like the anchors played their part, while the actress aced her act. Now we give Kangana the benefit of doubt and say that she was well guided by her sister Rangoli may be or then even advised by her publicists to stay put and only speak at a time that would be her best projection. Even then what's with the journos almost ending up asking Kangana the same set of questions? Suspicous, are you? And suppose we even oversee this and go to Kangana' own statements. This is not the Kangana we
Kangana Ranaut does not mind offending people. She does not mind taking names. And most obviously Kangana is not the one to mince words and go around beating the bush to justify her thoughts. In the whole feminist act, there was also a Kangana who was shaken and doubtful. Kangana Ranaut in a recent print interview to a leading daily said, "I sit back and ask myself if there is a social ability that I lack since I am offending so many people. Is there something I can do about my personality which can maybe make my life a little easier? But the thing is, if there is such a thing, after all my trying, it has not been revealed to me yet. And I can't pretend to be somebody else. I am myself. I try my best to be my best version. I feel I'm doing my best."
On one hand we had the confident Missy ready to take on the world and on the other hand somewhere the actress wanted to be accepted. But the big debate today is if Kangana Ranautwas being a pseudo feminist for the sake of coming clean of a controversy? Well, seems very doubtful to me. After all here's an actress who has nobody by her in an industry that is ruled by starry godfathers. And yes, by her own admission she would not like to be labelled one coz all her feminism has not been a selfless attempt and we think that is enough reason for her to be a
