I don't think Sagar will be treated the same way as Ganga. Hindu men and women are treated differently in widowhood. Men go on living their lives, eat what they want and get married again. While women are like outcast. The day their husband dies they are treated as if they have died too They are only allow to eat plain food, sleep on the floor and cannot remarry, in some home widows have to stay out of sight. Back in the very old days, women used to jump onto her husband pyre and burn alive because her live was over::-( This is very old orihodox and backward way. I hope it doesn't go on now.
