If Salman-Ash had married would we have seen the star we know today?

I feel like his martial status ( or the lack thereof 😆 ) may have played a bigger role in his success then first meets the eye - if he had married I feel like given the way his career was going back in 2004/2005 he would have or could have easily drifted into the sunset or taken a backseat in the acting department like Abhishek did ...or maybe not.

We always and often speak on the career graft of Bollywood actresses post marriage, but never of men, which is weird given that India's biggest superstar right now is unmarried ( something no current top hero is). What are your thoughts?

I don't agree with that.

Marriage changes you as a person, your personality, outlook on life, and ultimately the roles you do/suit. Salman has attracted an audience not only based on his roles which are mostly badass relentless OTT but also based on him offscreen - he's seen as this rich "cool" dude with no wife or kids and is someone the younger audience probably mostly guys ( and girls for his looks..duh 😆) look up to. And let's face it younger individuals are the ones going to watch these movies in cinema halls not so much married with kids or the elderly.

SRK is married now with three kids and doesn't attract the same audiences Salman does. Aamir attracts the more intellect audiences which is fair given that he's pretty diplomatic ( for the most part) and a lot of his personal life is not discussed in the media much.

At the end of the day the audiences you attract = numbers = numbers that go watch your movie = add up to the success ( or failure) of your films

Exactly...and people are saying marriage doesn't effect a male stars career...
