IKRS Wednesday 4th May 2016 ep 237 My Take ~ Shady altruism..
As human beings we also carry within our hearts, that which many faiths teach and humanity profess the beliefs that acting for the benefit of others is indeed right and good. Hence our desires to help ,the needy ,destitute and vulnerable . It's this noble feeling that moves us to give to charities, support natural calamity stricken or war torn zones populous . This episode too covers to help and better the state of others by offering support. But the altruistic acts administered by Kamini and Dashrant are only surface level goodness , as their lies another side to their selfless acts too. But it is hard to point a finger at an obviously humane action like Kamini teaching Dhani and Dashrant making collections for widows trust! As both are seen as sound and respectable persons.
Doing right things at the right time are crucial , like saying the right things too.The idea is to convey the right message which then becomes a means to an end Bua is restless till she doesn't make mischief , or plants a few misunderstandings here and there. She notices from the corner of her eye Viplav hangs about outside their room and thus she sounds off Kamini's greatness, when she tells her such a brilliant idea of hers to educate Dhani! so incongruous she seems in a household of literate people. Her help will surely benefit Dhani , may she be blessed for her kind gesture forever more Bua tells Kamini and ensures she promotes the image of Kamini being an exceptional girl, before Viplav. Kamini rises too, to show her graciousness and plays down her praise as she modestly adds , no need for praise she is happy to do her duty.. once Viplav's attention is grabbed Bua throws in more reason ,making way for more interaction between Viplav and Kamini. Bua queries how will she manage tutoring Dhani? what of her law masters? cunningly Kamini repies , she'll manage somehow .. she'd rather educate Dhani so he can proudly face his family , when Dhani's only set back is overcome . Bua knows Viplav will oblige which he does as he offers his help to Kamini in her preparations for her law exam! He asserts she can tutor Dhani and he will tutor her. Kamini as her typical ploy to play safe, dithers and shows reluctance but Viplav insists he will coach her and literally offers his palm and she places her palm in his which he clasps! thus without even trying hard , Kamini muses , her first step into achieving Viplav has fared well.
Dashrant continues to feel the brunt of lost authority at the hands of his sibling Bua.Even as he offers devotion at the temple outside ,his insides fume! He vows he will snatch back all the clout she has wrenched off him. Some lowly pundits still give him reverence which he shuns off as condescension on their part as he really was the high priest any more. But on seeing a top judge drive in.. Dashrant assumes the same shrewd guile that he used as high priest to make impressions of exceptional thoughts put in action. He suddenly stops the devotees and praises their faith , due to which the temples function. He thanks them for the alms they have been giving, but this time he expects more from them! he preaches to them that till today widows are being exploited in society! and for widows to remarry is considered unthinkable! But this will do whilst he is around. One devotee challenges for widows to remarry is going against tradition. Dashrantchallenges , which traditions are those? For surely the greatest tradition is humanity itself !with time we all have to change our mindsets! His daughter in law Dhani was a widow ,but his grandson Viplav married her, and set a new tradition! But this is not enough , so he wants that the Sita maa temple should be built in the name of his daughter in law Dhani!there should be a collection box placed in it and the monies should be used for the widows welfare! and he requests the devotees to spread the news of the idea to every one! The passing by judge hears all and lauds Dashrant for his noble thoughts! and wishes to make a contribution for the good cause too! and Dashrant muses ,dear sister a king doesn't rule by a mere bundle of papers ,but by his vision ,sensibility and discretion! So Dashrant uses Dhani's previous history at his own discretion and exploits the situation to earn respect and in coming offerings received in the name of faith and service to a noble cause.
Time to begin the good deed of education Dhani , making her into that which will make Viplav proud. In principle it sounds a super altruistic notion before all in AN, but deep down there hides a taunt ,scoff and mock! in both Bau's and Kamini's hearts for Dhani . Still on the onset as evening draws Kamini kick starts Dhani's tutorial by teaching her the English alphabet.. A, is or apple! and Viplav sneaks by munches on the crunchy juicy apple as he reckon he wants to bite that cheek of Dhani! he eyes , Dhani breaks her concentration! he laughs at her accent ,and she signals for him to buzz off! but he shakes his head vigorously! refusing to leave! But while Dhani's phonics lesson continues, as B for Bua ji! Viplav sits on the end of his bed and sulks. Dhani shooed him away , now see what he'll get up to! while Dhani tackles the word phonics! Viplav takes up the challenge of how he'll make Dhani abandon her lesson and come to him!he desires her! Dhani!!!can't find the night suit! He interrupts as he carries on munching the apple! can't have her ,will make do with this apple, Kamini lets her pupil go, she gives in to Viplav's rude interruptions! Dhani comes into their love nest to sort his demand of the night suit ,but instead gets hugged from behind him and gently lowered on the bed ,exasperated she looks bewildered into his face ,what on earth is up to? but he moans she took so long to heed to his need. He looks intensely into her eyes and says ,look Dhani you going to spend all night learning ? when does he get to hear what she has learnt? She pushes him off her ,finds his night suit gives it to him and sternly tells him no more disturbing her in lessons !no more excuses! She leaves , only to be pulled back by him .. he sits her on the end of the bed and tests her on what she has learnt so far, tell him then, L for? Dhani thinks and makes up some nonsense ,but he is not having it , but she pleads let her learn only then can she tell him! detains her again.. look she can learn whatever in her lessons but the three letters of love he will teach her!L love ,means Ishq!neeedd a litttle bit of love.. he tells her besotted by her big bold dark brown eyes and he moves his face close to hers for a kiss .. but gets pushed by her with a coquettish scream , no! nothing doing! and he calls after her like a Loafer, oyeee!! L is for his lady love!! Dhani rushes off closing the door behind her!' Dhani returns to her teacher Kamini and apologizes for the interruption .. Kamini takes it with a pinch of salt! But Viplav carries on cat calls like a rude boy! Dhani I love you! the lesson resumes again! Viplav becomes a pain again! Dhani you forgot the tee shirt! Dhani jumps up but Kamini pulls her back down and has stiff words with her , she won't learn anything like this ,full concentration is needed for studies!but Viplav calls again! and this time Kamini takes her chance! Tells Dhani to revise while she'll go and see to the problem. Craftily she turns the mains off and in pitch darkness enters Viplav's room he mistakes her to be Dhani grabs her from the back and blocks her mouth with his hand!and whispers, naughty! So she switched off the mains!I for idea!and what a brilliant one too!no light! no studying! so she missed him ,now had she told him of the plan he would have lit some candles! Now he'll teach her the rest firstly , she should always stay with her husband! because he cannot stay without her, and she cannot stay without him!secondly say I love you to her husnand.. a gagged Kamini eyes begin to pop out! Viplav waits and coaxes her to say she loves him! just the once.. say L for love..love meaning Ishq , say it Dhani he whispers .. say it Dhani! Dhani enters the room with a candle in her hand and is puzzled Viplav? he is horrified!lets go of Kamini with a yelp! Nooo!tells her off why didn't she say who she was..she replies he had her gagged he runs to Dhani's side highly embarrassed!he thought it was her.. Kamini taunts seems like he is missing Dhani a lot..and she says Dhani now finish off your lesson with him.. and Dhani and Viplav laugh hysterically ! Bua yells, Dhani what's wrong with the lights? Kamini says she'll have a look..she leaves and Viplav moans why did she send her ,he thought it was her!all he wants is to hold his wife in his arms.As he does, his magic touch brings back the light back in his life..he blows the candle out and is about to kiss Dhani.. Kamini lands up in their door post again with her books.. Viplav invites her in the room where she studies with him..dhani in the background serves as a distraction for viplav , he winks at her, pouts kisses at dhani and is flippant.. kamini can see dhani presence is in her face! she picks up her books ,looks like he'snot ready to tutor her today.. viplav say no .. he will..and she leaves in a polite huff! viplav closes the door is around his dhani who tells him offlovingly he is such a child! viplav cries like a child..again he apolgizes for the incident with kamini . but dhani protests she never said any thing so stop!dhani says the world can rumble ,but her trust in him will never shake! and he topples her backwards on their bed..
Kamini.. gets pleasure from brief moments of bliss with Viplav..but soon her face darkens like her dark deeds her shady altruistic deeds.. no matter what she cooks up at being alone with Viplav , this Dhani sticks up like a sore thumb..she is always with Viplav.. then how will she get to Viplav? suddenly she gets the right idea for dhani to be.. school.. for only when dhani is away from viplav.. will she get the chance to be by him!
Good fun episode as far Viplav Dhani are concerned. Kamini is frustrated beyond words!Morals are sparse in AN..Kanak/Dashrant and now this dame after a married man.. viplav needed a spanking today !very naughty boy.. hamlet53 5.5.16
