It's not easy to break a habit which is 8 years old.

Unless one makes a conscious attempt to break it.

I think the channel is banking this particular group which watches BV out of habit and dishing out nonsense in the name of BV.

For me this started with a girl who became a Balika Vadhu at the age of 8 and ended with her death in the hands of a man whom she clashed with in her fight against child marriage.

Balika Vadhu had been a journey of a girl who started off as Balika Vadhu and ended up as an activist who strived to prevent child marriages and rehabilitated child brides.The title Balika Vadhu suits the unforgettable lead Anandi.

It was her journey that was impressive.She lost a lot in life because of child marriage and then because of her fight against the custom child marriage. It was her joys and sorrows that kept me glued together with the way her creators presented her story into which so many other stories woven.

My emotional connect ends with the end of Anandi's journey.So I don't feel drawn to the show after that simply because the writers have not been able to evoke the same kind of feelings that Anandi had over the years.

Even if I want to watch it because it has become a habit I still can't bring myself to watch because I don'tcare about Nandini or her love story not bothered about who she ends up with.

This indifference to the show is helping me get out of it.

I have to wait and watch. To put it rudely, its has become like alcohol or drug addiction. The slot and the forum. I cant ignore that the very names Nandini and Shivam brings back lots of memories connected to the past.With this foundation they started a new love story where Nandini will chose her partner who will not be a mere interesting one but who exhibits some values too. I would also like to know wheher the hospital takes more space than Nandini's social service preventing balvivahs as she is taunted endlessly as a BV. It seems Kundan is still someone out there ready to spring a nasty surprise.

Leaves they have already made it clear that it is not going to be about child marriage.

Nandini is not a BV anymore. Her mother had seen to it. Unlike Anandi and Ganga Nandini didn't grow up as a child bride but she grew up as an orphan for reasons unknown.

Kundan may be a nuisance she has to deal with.

Other than that she already has a goal and that is to establish hospitals which provide medical servicess free if cost across the state as per Anandi's last wish.

What made Anandi ask her child to do that we are yet to know.

Me thinks that Hospital authorities couldn't contact Jagya and Anandi's treatment suffered because of lack of finances and probably because the doctors were reluctant to treat gun shot wounds. Anandi being Anandi could only think of all those people who don't get medical care because they couldn't afford it therefore asked her daughter to work on bringing medical care to all.

Theme child marriage will be kept alive with Nandini dealing with the scars that child marriage left on her psyche. Her mother could have helped her deal with them but she died.

I saw some post which said Amit is Nandini's saviour 🤢

Did Nandini need anyone to save her? Wasn't she the one who always stood up for others?

Thankfully, I already broke the habit of switching to colors TV at 8.00 pm post January 2015.. It was really difficult and it took me many months to get rid of my habit of watching TV at 8.00 pm. I watched few shows post that, mostly content based and finite. Some not so popular GECs still offer such shows. Never felt like contributing to any of those forums like I did for BV though and also didn't find any forum as interesting as BV forum..

This new Nandini doesn't have any connect to Anandi and Shiv's daughter Nandini.. And there is no question of feeling any connect to new characters. But it will take some time to get rid of the habit of visiting BV forum for me..

It is quite difficult not to switch to Colors @8PM but have been managing.

Not watching at present but what is @bold? From when did the stauts of balika vadhu became a point for teasing? The new creatives have lost their marble so soon?

That is just a ploy to remind the viewers about the BV connection, hence her BV status will keep popping up ...sadistic bunch of CVs ..
