"Hold your horses, I'm coming," Marsh grumbled, still half asleep.
"Return to the real world, Marshmallow. You got a mail and it looks official."
Marsh murmured under her breath as she took the envelope from Pooja. Carelessly, she ripped the envelope, dropping its contents.
"Are those backstage passes?" Pooja asked as she picked them up. Marsh picked up the letter and read it, her eyes widening after each word.
"I won that Zee TV contest for desi's abroad. I get two backstage passes to The Indian Television Academy Awards and I get to present an award." Marsh said, still in a daze.
"No way! This is so cool, I can't believe we're going to attend the ITA's."
"Wait just a moment. Who said we? What if I want to take someone else?" Marsh asked, causing Pooja to laugh hysterically.
"Yeah, sure." She replied sarcastically.
"Alright, fine. No need to be smug about it." Marsh grumbled.

"Oh my God! I can't believe we're actually on the red carpet. It seems like a dream. I think I'm going to start hyperventilating," Marsh prattled.
"Calm down, or I'll have to resort to slapping you. You don't want me to slap you in front of all these cameras and celebrities, right?" Pooja asked. Marsh nodded in reply.
"Good, now take a deep breath and let's move forward."
"Okay, I'm going to tell you something but promise not to freak out," Pooja asked.
"Ahan, what is it?" Marsh asked distractedly, as she ogled Arnav Singh Raizada.
"The Geet cast is on your le-," Pooja was interrupted.
"WHAT! Where...Oh, I see them," Marsh said dreamily.
"What are you still doing here? Go and meet them." Pooja pushed Marsh into their direction.
"Uh, hi?" Marsh said lamely as she controlled her movements so she wouldn't bump into Maan Singh Khurana.
"Hello," Maan replied politely.
"I...I...I really like your face...and personality. You're definitely boyfriend goals for me." Marsh babbled.
Maan smiled politely once again and quickly introduced Geet.
"Oh my God! How are you prettier in reality?" Marsh asked.
Geet blushed and gave her a quick hug.
"Thank you, sweetheart." I can finally die in peace, Marsh thought.
"Hi," Geet smiled.

I can't believe we got such great seats. Did you notice Zaroon and Kashaf two rows ahead of us? Who am I even asking, of course you did," Pooja stated.
"They're so close yet so far...If only I could touch them," Marsh sighed.
"It's good that they're far, we don't need you getting a restraining order," Pooja commented, resulting in Marsh rolling her eyes.
"I better go back, I should be announcing the award soon," Marsh claimed getting up.
"Do you know which award you're going to announce?" Pooja asked.
"No idea," Marsh shrugged before she left.

"Marsh, right?" A guy named Dev asked. Marsh nodded. "Follow me," he ordered, walking away. With no other choice Marsh followed him.
They stopped in front of a figure, a very nice figure.
"Okay, you'll be presenting the award with Zaroon and it's for The Best Off Air Show, capisce?"
He quickly walked away attending other businesses, whilst Marsh was left in a trance standing in front of her dream man.
"I'm in love with you," Marsh sighed and she tentatively touched his arm.
"Umm, hello stranger...I apologise but I'm not in love with you," Zaroon joked trying to get out of an awkward situation.
"I am so sorry," Marsh apologised realising what she just said. "I'm not usually like this, but I never thought I'd ever meet you and here you are, in front of me. And, all I can think about is...well not something appropriate...Oh lord! I am on a roll," Marsh groaned.
"It's alright," Zaroon tried to appease her.
The host announced their names and they were both thankful for being able to get out of that awkward situation. Zaroon linked Marsh's arm around his and led her to the front of the stage.
"Good evening, everyone!" They said in unison. "We'll be presenting the award for The Best Off Air Show," Zaroon announced.
"And, the award goes to Geet Hui Sabse Parayi," Marsh declared. The Geet cast came on stage. Maan and Geet both hugged Marsh as she handed the award to them, leaving her elated.
