parents vs. gf/bf OR gf/bf vs. parents___

Hey.. I think this is a common situation in Indian families. I was lucky enough to have a mother who always encouraged the truth, no matter what I had done and was doing.
Having said that, if I was asked or had to make a choice between my parents and my bf or a person I liked / loved.. I would not even think a second moment. It will always be my mother. She is my world. One should always remember what parents have done for you and what you mean to your parents. And ofcourse, if I were the parent, I would be extremely hurt. Parents and family is for life. You might not like your bf/gf tomorrow.

Sizzlinangel, I completely, whole HEARTEDLY agree with you.

My mum knows abt my bf but in that situation, there is no question abt choosing. It would be my mum for sure. Id make her like my bf and all, but if it ever had to come to that, my mum is my entire life =]

And guys, DONT HIDE RELATIONSHIPS FROM UR FAMILY... it won't end happy xP!

^^ well in my situation as im yunggin riite now.. i wud pick my momssss.. !! but i dnt rele tell the truth to my mom lekin i think this situation acually mite come 2 me on day.. 😭 but im surely gunna pick my mom.. but probably i wont luv ne1 as much nemore until i kno my dad lyks him 😆 😆 😉

My parents. They are the ones who have brought me up and made me what im today. They have trusted me, and i can never break their trust! 😳

Aww.. parents are sometimes suspicious.. and have a 'shuck' on their children.. But they are not too blame.. They are just trying to be protective of you, especially after they hear all the awful stories in the bad world outside.. Rather you should know that they think you are so innocent that you need your parents protection from the evil world outside! 😆

Thats just my opinion, though I am not a parent myself.. duh, I'm not even married! 😳 😆

I second that! If you are hiding relationships, or infact whenever you hide something, it means you are doing something wrong! Otherwise why would you hide it? Are you ashamed of it, are you not proud of it? Or you dont want to be associated with it? If you think you are not doing anything wrong and are right, stand by it and be open and clear about your relationship! 😊

Dats bec they want the best for u, and they think dey can get that by keeping a close eye on u.. But dey would always want ur happiness no matter what and dey dunt want u 2 get hurt!😳

My parents, even through i have made many mistakes, trust me a lot and i can never break dis trust!😳
