I would like to highlight the CRITICAL importance of having its own navigation system. Proud to say that we are only the 3rd nation to have our very own navigation system.

When a country depends on another country for its navigational needs it subverts its Independence. During the Kargil imbroglio, the US had the option to switch of the GPS systems, thus blinding us and bringing to standstill the entire operations. Imagine, being dependent on another country when your such critical military operations are on!!!

Now with our own navig systems, we are not dependent and thus will NOT be dictated/ coerced by any other nation.

Well, this will benefit the common poor fishermen of our country who wander in the sea in search of fish.The satellite will allow them to know beforehand where they will find large amount of fish,what are the boundaries of various countries so that they know their limits and don't reach into foreign waters and then bear the legal trouble.

such positive posts gont get responsesad!

We are just 3 and reason for celebration is we dont have to rely on US anymore and can be self reliant moreover we did it at half cost
