*Preethi is packing her bags*
Nidz (bounces into the room): What's going on Pree?
Sri (looks up from the bed and says sarcastically): She's dancing.
Nidz: Okay, okay. I get it. She's packing. But why?
Sri (shocked): You don't know?
Nidz: No. What's going on?
Sri (singsong voice): She's getting married.
Nidz: Aww really?
Preetz: Go away.
Sri: No.
Nidz: Why aren't you helping her?
Sri: It's more fun seeing her doing her own packing.
Preetz (rolling eyes): She's teasing me.
Nidz: I want to join in! When is the marriage?
Sri: In 3 weeks.
Preetz: I'm not getting married yet. My family is just taking me to see a guy.
Nidz: Ooh...today they are taking you to see a guy and tomorrow you're saying yes and then the day after you're getting married.
Sri: I wonder what our jiju will look like.
Nidz: Whatever he looks like, I'm sure Pree will be really happy to see him.
Sri (dreamily): And in that first meeting she will look at him with demure eyes. And he will continue staring at her only. It'll be like the first meeting that Shahid and Amrita had in Vivah.
Nidz (continues dreamily): And then they will meet every few days at a coffee shop and get to know each other. The shyness will disappear and love will replace it. Then a few weeks later both will shyly tell their parents that they agree to the marriage.
Sri: Then their parents will decide the date and the venue and the guests to invite and all those other details.
Nidz: And then as the marriage day gets closer, the 2 will steal every moment they can to talk to each other knowing full well that they aren't supposed to.
Sri: That's where we'll come in. As her best friends we will steal her phone and not let her talk to jiju. Then we'll charge jiju to catch even a glimpse of her.
*Preethi picked up pillows and threw them at Sri and Nidz.*
Sri (catching pillow and laughing): Bulls-eye!
Nidz (ducking and laughing): Missed!
Pree (angrily): Both of you go away. I can't believe my 2 best friends would be doing this to me.
Sri: It's fun.
Nidz: Plus it's your birthday. We're just having fun.
Sri: That's right. Happy Birthday!
Nidz: And you know we're just teasing you. Happy Birthday!
