A Deepika admirer (not really a fan) because of her acting skills. Katrina started off her career much sooner but she still has a lot to work on, for example her acting.

I prefer Deepika to Katrina but not a fan.

Not a 'fan' of anyone but i don't mind Katrina. From the reading i've done on here and other sites I think Katrina gets a lot more flak than other actresses because of her equation with SK. But I think that's unfair because to get anywhere in the Indian Film Industry you need connections. To be fair you need that in any profession now - that's why work experience and networking is so important to get ahead in most jobs. She may have got some support for MPKK from SK but after that i don't think he would have the time to get her into movies left right and centre. She has acted well in some movies and has improved her Hindi diction. My personal observation is I have found people in India like her more than those living outside of India - she has the respect within India. Films like ZNMD suited her to a T. People might say she can't act - I beg to differ, I feel she is subtle, not over the top.

Deepika. I also don't mind her and she does the drunken girl act very well but like Priyanka Chopra i haven't gelled with these actresses not for any particular reason - I just haven't. However I hope Deepika does something meangingful with the mental awareness campaign - maybe she could come up with an app or sponsor events that allow people to openly talk about it. I think she could be a great ambassador for the cause if done correctly and using the right platform.

Not a fan per se, but like both their dancing, fashion and generally how they present themselves. Most of all, they are two examples of girls who came from outside and made it to the top by using their strengths and working hard, admire their work ethic the most.
