CHAPTER -3 (B)

TWIST OF FATE

RAIZADA PALACE , AJMER

"you need to come arnav bhai , its my marriage after all " shyam tried again to make sure his big brother will accompany him to Lahore , be part of his barat . he wants his big brother to be there on his big day , he wont stop until his brother say yes . he knows arnav is little hurted by his mother' s accusation of calling him a bad omen , don't know why his mother hate him so much , arnav has done everything as per her commands and have never questioned her so why be always so hard on him .

"fine ! but I don't want anyone else to know about it , I will be in the last car that will leave . ok" arnav agrees to her brothers wish at last , he can do anything to see a smile on his face . shyam smiles whole heartedly and hugs his brother tight saying a big thank you .

shyam knows his brother is taking a big risk for his happiness , if his father or mother got know of him then they might send him back to Jaipur to her uncle's home , this time maybe for forever . but aranv is now expert in hiding and being discreet . they will be leaving for Lahore today and will reach there in two days and next day would be his wedding , they will stay in Lahore for two days then be back with his beautiful bride. Shyam cant wait to hold his sweet beautiful wife in his arms .

he has seen her in her brother's birthday celebration , she was so calm , her angelic face bright enough to illuminate the whole palace . shyam has then & there decided to marry her . getting approval of his father was a cake walk , he knew his father wanted a seat in the parliament who better than khushi's father who reign over such huge kingdom and has alliance with powerful people . khushi can be his and being a son-in-law of such huge kingdom can help them in attaining more power . it's a win-win.

SHEESH MAHAL , LAHORE

Arnav was standing there not understanding how everything has taken a big twist in mere two days . his brother liked the girl a lot so why all of sudden he the one standing on his place . his father wants him to marry princess of Lahore instead of his brother . how can he ? he cant break his brother's trust .

His father has somehow come to know of him being here and asked him to have a talk alone . his father did not belittle him , didn't screamed on him to be here, he has surprised him with his calm behaviour . he should have know, it is the calm before the storm , his father request to marry instead of his brother is nothing less then a big tornado , which ready to destroy everything in his way .

Apparently , his brother has not yet reached here , they have lost there way . pundit has been calling for the groom for the rituals for a while now , as the auspicious moment remained is less now . his father has talked to king of Lahore about the chances and he seems to have no problem in marrying his daughter to him , which is a big shock in itself , arnav has himself confirmed everyone's approval to it except the bride off course they are not allowed to meet . hope he could talk to her somehow in all this she is one who will be effected the most after all .

Even after agreeing to his father's wish to save his honour at this crucial time , arnav is still feeling quite jittery . he has been trying to get in connected with his brother for past one hour but nothing useful has come yet . arnav walks towards the window looking down at the back garden of the palace blankly , his eyes caught something red running in the gardens .

he looked more closely and saw a petite girl in heavy red lahanga trying to climb the tall walls of the palace , her steps hurried as if afraid some one will catch her , she loses her steps twice making aranv's breath caught in his lungs for a second . he then notices some red and white Bengals in her hand , his eyes widens in shock as he realises that the girl is none other than his bride who is trying to run away from this wedding ..from him . his heart tightens at that thought , why he is feeling sad & betrayed all of sudden , he don't even know her name , he should not care what she does or not . its for better anyway they both will be saved from this unwanted wedding .

Every one in the palace is waiting for the bride's arrival for past one hour . first groom didn't came and now bride is missing . payal and her sister are searching her from forever but she not to be seen any where . payal is now sure her sister has ran away as she was threatening when this marriage was fixed . their father will kill them for sure now and what about the family's honour , she has destroyed in a blink . what will happen now ? payal decides to finally let her father know about it . now her father can save everything now .

Arnav sits on the mandap , his body clad in maroon Rajasthani sherwani with a cream coloured pagadi with a silver broacher on it adoring his head . he is holding a sword in his right hand as per their ritual . his body calm but inside a storm building inside him slowly over powering his senses . he keeps on chanting he doesn't care if she runs away or do anything she wants but maybe his ego has got hurt from her rejection . he has never felt so restless in his life as he is feeling now , his gaze try to find her in the crowd as if she will come running miraculously to him .

Arnav closes his eyes calming his senses when , he feels a soft touch on his palm which makes him open his eyes and look at the bride siting beside putting her hand on his now open right palm . arnav stares at the beauty clad in red besides him , her face covered with heavy veil of red colour with heavy silver and golden embroidery . arnav smiles , he felt so revealed to find her here . taking her comeback as her approval of acceptance of this new relation between them arnav puts his all attention on the mantars chanting by the pundit .

Arnav puts vermillion on khushi's parting by sliding his hand inside her veil , not opening it fully to have anyone view of her face , even he haven't seen her yet . then he ties the mangalstura on her neck . they both take seven round of scared fire promising a life time together of happiness and bliss .

Both are feeling restless and happy at the same time . khushi is herself shocked her impulse behaviour of coming back when she has a clear path of running away . what unknown force has compelled her to comeback and get married . why she is feeling so ecstatic and shy like a new bride. Is it true that no one can won over destiny .

Khushi is confused has she lost or won ?

WEIRD SUHAGRAT😳

"there are big rats here if you don't want your long hairs to be cut short , it better that you sleep on the bed , it's the safest place in the whole palace , trust me khushi!" arnav said last part in a soft voice , as per pleading her to trust him . when still khushi didn't moved a inch away from the wall that she had stridden to scared of him . khushi s face still covered in her veil , her fingers clutching her skirt tightly on both sides , her breathing slow , her anklet making sound now and then when she moves her feet nervously .

" I don't eat young nave girls khushi , that's just not my type " arnav said in a heavy voice mimicked a ghostly voice . arnav smirked looking at khushi who didn't move an inch still . arnav had tried threatening her with every animal that can scare a normal girl out of her wits but she is anything but normal. its time to change tactics arnav .

Arnav got up from the bed and move towards her in slow steps saying

"fine! You have not left me a option but to pick you up and throw you on the bed " as arnav got closer to her . khushi ran to the bed animatedly , laid down and covered herself in blanket tightly .arnav smirked looking at her childish behaviour .
