Wish it got more love than it got but slowly and eventually people are praising it as day passes.

Sonakshi was magnificent. Absolute best.

This was Ranveer's best easily.

Vikramaditya Motwane is a terrific director.
Music by Amit Trivedi was fabulous.
One of the best films in last 10 years. Not mainstream film but can make any cinegoer a fan.

What did you think of it?

No doubt. THIS WAS BOTH RANVEER & SONAKSHI'S BEST ACTING & MOVIE.
The last scene when he hangs that leaf for her and she looks out at it.. makes me cry each & every time.
AND THE SONGS.. EACH & EVERYONE OF THEM WERE SO APT, SO AMAZING. Its one of the best albums to come out in a long time.

Masterpiece. Sonakshi's career best performance, don't think she'l be able to surpass it (I hope she does). Ranveer was brilliant too. Easily Trivedi's best work. All the songs are extraordinary can hear them on loop. Motwani needs to make more films, dunno why he's wasting his talent sitting idle.

I still regret not watching this film on the big screen.
The film that made me a SonaVeer fan.

Love the story, love the songs, love the acting.
Vikramaditya is a gem.

That year it was pretty sad to see this film totally ignored at the awards.
Only thing we saw was Sonakshi getting main nominations and winning few critics award whereas Monali only took Best Singer female for Sawaar Loon at Filmfare.. And Amit getting nominations but not winning over the overrated A2 album,.

Other than that, it got no major nominations. Pretty heartbreaking

It was most praised film of that year and Sonakshi's performances was ranked above DP's RamLeela but the fate Lootera had at BO changed everything around by the end of the year

Had the film worked we wouldn't have seen Sonakshi going back to the commercial route with films like Action Jackson & Tevar.

Gawd.
I want her back onscreen. These days it's kinda hard being a Sona fan.
I m scared for her film AKIRA, Fox Star isn't making announcements related to it.
