Well you are right in that regard. Randeep was great and he didn't get his fair due, and no doubt he was better than Alia. No contest there. But part of the blame should also go to the marketing and promotional team because they started overhyping Alia as well. Wasn't Randeep mad at Imtiaz because he said his scenes were edited out and the movie was supposed to be about his life and his emotional baggage?

I don't know this as an absolute fact, but there were consistent reports that Randeep was not happy.

Yeah i remember Randeep being disappointed 😆 Doubt it will happen here cos Shahid, Kareena, Diljit etc. are established stars in their own right. So i guess the appreciation will be well deserved ( to whoever steals the show that is😆)
