So Yuvi tried to forcefully marry Twinkle after being caught by the family that he was faking being a child. Kunj rescues her and then enrolls in college to finish up his MBA which he had left hanging. Same time, Twinkle's papa from England comes back to her mother. Apparently he got into an accident and had his younger daughter Mahi with him at the time. The business of Tanejas was apparently in not good condition hr father along with her sister didn't come back to their house so that leela could get the insurance money to build up the business and take care of Twinkle.
Kunj's college and childhood friend Maya during this time is going through divorce and Kunj helps her out through the ordeal. Twinkle misunderstands and thinks that Kunj wants to divorce her evacuees of her still thinking that Kunj was responsible for the farm house misunderstanding (Kunj tells her it was Yuvi). Twinkle decided to leave but Kunj brings her back and tells her that Maya is only his friend.
Mahi comes back from England and finds out about her mother and sister. She also reveals that in absence of her father she got married. Later it turns ou that she married Yuvraj Luthra. Twinkle tries to warn her but she is provoked by Yuvi that Twinkle is jealous of him choosing Mahi instead of Twinkle. This creates a rift between the sisters.
Yuvi tries to throw acid on Twinkle's and Mahi's faces but Twinkle figures out and they divert the bottle of champagne that had acid in it. Mali's face gets burnt and Yuvi tries to withhold her skin grafting surgery but Kunj arranges the money under Yuvi's name for Mahi to get surgery
None of the family members are happy with Mahi-Yuvi's wedding besides Twinkle and Mahi's dad who thinks Yuvi is amazing. He does live with Leela but isn't shown much.
After Mahi is recovered, Twinkle is invited to participate in Mrs. Amritsar as she won Ms. Amritsar. Kunj doesn't want her to participate since he has started feeling possessive for her but she after initial no, says yes to the competition. Turns out Yuvi hires a con-artist couple for money to frame manohar for cheating on his wife. Twinkle traces the girl who was caught with manohar and an MMS of such was sent to her and exposes the girl and deletes all the files to erase proof of scandal.She doesn't tell the reason of her participation to Kunj and tells that she just wants to be there by Mahi.
Later Kunj and Twinkle come closer and Yuvi gets jealous so he releases the pictures of Manohar into the media and blames Twinkle for all. Kunj gets angry at Twinkle for not sharing the information. Manohar gets a heart attack and go into coma. He blames her for telling him earlier because if Twinkle had spoken earlier his dad wouldn't be in coma. She is thrown out of the house by Usha.
Manohar's lawyer dude comes home and reveals that the only profitable business of manohar Sarna which is a wedding-planning business is given to Twinkle instead of his sons. Twinkle takes on the responsibility and comes back to Sarna house but doesn't come to Kunj's room as he hasn't forgiven him. Yuvi tries to ruin the weddings of her clients and ruins the first two events given to Twinkle. In the third event, Kunj and Twinkle make up and reunite and confess there love for each other. When they come back home, Manohar is all well and Usha forgives Twinkle and accepts her as her daughter. Kunj also finds out that Yuvraj was responsible for his father's scandal.
Mahi meanwhile finds out that Yuvraj is cheating on her with mistresses and that he was using her to get to Twinkle.
Yuvi is thrown out of the house by Kunj but he sneaks back in and finds out Twinkle planning suhaag-raat of her and Kunj. In order to separate Twinkle from Kunj and punish the sisters for being against him, Yuvi attempts murder on Mahi and implicates Twinkle for murder to keep her away from her family.
Twinkle's father is the only person who believes in Twinkle being responsible for his younger daughter's death while the rest of household beliefs in Twinkle.
Mahi turns out to be alive as she fell on to the bushes instead of rolling down the cliff. Kunj and Twinkle give her a makeover of Deevika Khanna in order to scare Yuvi off and make him confess. Yuvi figures out that Deevika is Mahi and then tries to bury Mahi alive but Twinkle and Kunj get there on time along with police and rescue Mahi while Yuvi has now gone to jail.
