Aisa Des Hai Mera - Part One and Promo

Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand was the love story of Pammi Singh and Dev Malik who were great lovers, but unfortunately after Gunjuns birth Dev died in a terrible plane crash. Afterwards Pammi's family forced her to get married to Rahul Malhotra even though she was married to Rahul her life stopped after Dev's death.

Hey guys that was a brief intro of Dev and Pammi's love story, but this story is about their daughter Mahi who always dreamed of going to India; her motherland that's why this story is called Aisa Des Mein Mera. Aisa Des Hai Mera is basically about Mahi's struggles' in life.

Malhotra Family

Rahul Malhotra (Is played by the guy in Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand who played Rohan)

Age 42

Rahul is married to Pammi Malik after her first husband's death.

Pammi Singh/Malik/Malhotra (Sangeeta Ghosh)

Age 38

Pammi is married to Rahul Malhotra after Dev's death, but Pammi never forgot Dev. Dev was her soul mate who taught her the meaning of love when she went to India for the first time at her cousin's wedding. Pammi loves her daughter Gunjun so much that she is scared of hurting her feelings when she finds out that she is Dev Malik's daughter not Rahul's daughter, but her only fear is stopping her from letting Mahi go to India on her eighteenth birthday after she is married to Zaib Garewal.

Mahi Malhotra (Neha Bamb)

Age 17

Mahi's pet name is Gunjun, Mahi is a simple girl who desires to go India for the first time on her eighteenth birthday after she is married to Zaib Garewal who she hates. Mahi's engagement happened on her "sweet sixteen birthday" with Zaib Garewal (Zaib Garewal is only child of Sujal and Kashish who are also her Self-Defences' teachers). Anyways Mahi shares all her feelings with Prachi and Tabi (Tabi is her Tina Mansi). Mahi shares a deeper connection with her professor Raj Mehra who teaches her math, history, chemistry, and Drama 30.

Other Characters

Tina Singh (Karishma Tanna)

Age 25

She is Pammi's younger sister who lives with them after coming back from India. Tina is also known as Tabi (that was Mahi's first word when she was a baby since that day on Tina was known as Tabi). She and Mahi are more like friends than Mansi and Niece. Tina shares all her pain with her sister Pammi even Pammi shares her pain with Tina after Dev's death. Tina was more close to Dev than Rahul she hardly knows Rahul like Dev.

Prachi Desai (Panchi Bora)

Age 17

She also studies at Oxford University with Mahi; Mahi and her are best friends forever. Mahi shares all her problem even she shares her problem with her along with Neev. Neev is her childhood friend who she loves.

Neev Shergill (Jay from Kayamath)

Age 18

Also studies at Oxford University with Mahi, Prachi, Zaib, Jeet, Shabd, and Soni. They all are friends expect for Zaib because Zaib is a bad boys who picks on girls like Mahi and Prachi even though Prachi is his cousin he won't leave her alone along with her friends. Neev also loves Prachi since childhood and desire to marry her one day.

Zaib Garewal (Iqbal Khan)

Age 20

Zaib is one of the "bad boys" at Oxford University who loves to pick on his cousin Prachi along with Mahi (Mahi is going to be his wife after her eighteenth birthday according to their family even though they are engaged for two years). Zaib is more modern type guy who hates traditions and going to India after his first visit as a kid (that might be the only compromise Zaib is going to make for Mahi).

Shabd Sareen (Shabd is played by the guy in Maayka who plays Shabd)

Age 19

Shabd is good friend of Mahi who protects her from the bad boys at their college even from her fianc Zaib whenever he is drunk. Shabd is more like a friend who understands' Mahi's pain.

Like I promised so here are part one and the promo....

Part One

All the people who were Indian stood up for the National Anthem of India by its tune. Afterwards a young girl who comes forward dress in green, white, orange sari and starts singing the National Anthem

(Poor young girl who bites her tongue and screws up the National Anthem, but apologies afterwards and someone else finishes the song from the audience's side)Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya he.

(Starts running toward the stage while mumbling "Meri Beti… …. …. Meri Beti… … … Meri Beti… … …" than hugs her on the stage. Gunjun also salutes her mother than touches her feet saying "India is the best" Her mother places a small peck on her forehead even Gunjun kissed her mother's forehead saying "you are the worlds best mom")

Entire college clapped form the dance performs at Multi-Cultural Night even Shabd performed with Neev and Prachi, but now it was Mahi's turn. Mahi comes out dress in Green Churdar and moves along with the beats and twirls around in circle.

Mahi exits outs and her friend Prachi comes up dancing to this tune afterwards Mahi joins her dress in her white-orange lenhga bought my Kashish her Ma'am and her soon to be mother-in-law.

To end their performs Mahi and Prachi dance to the beat of Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand (that brought back Pammi's memory of India especially Chandigarh where she experience love for the first time with Dev). Soon as the girls reach the backstage Kashish came up to them and said "mind-blowing performs –Oh really Mom said by Zaib" Kashish gave Zaib a weird look that meant apologies to Mahi, but as usual Zaib walked out from there town his Rishi Uncle. (Rishi is Sujal's younger brother who studies in Oxford University with his Nephew Zaib. Also Rishi is played by another than Shabbir Alluhwalia.)

Promo: Zaib is totally drunk and Shabd had to go to his sister's place between the party.
