Part 1.

A very hopeful part 2.

Though all is not well and many issues are circling around Khushi, the recent one being Vijay. And in that matter the bad decision on Khushi part was to confront him. I hope vijay see through Khushi and her effort not same as people to agree to help him and than deceived. And I truly hope that he didn't let his boss know of Khushi. Between, is he involved with those ganja gang, the one Shyam mentioned?

The one good this which came out of shyam and Khushi's meet is the job offer, it definitely provides a good source for Khushi to get to the root of her doubt. And Shyam too realized the danger it may entail hence his offer is one which will alert the kidnappers to not think of harming Khushi, since she is working with the police.

I must say I really liked the Shyam Ponappa so far. He is genuine and a honest officer. He is committed to his job and is trying to do what all good he can with the resources he has. And so his job offer will help him, his department and Khushi too. On the personal front, not so much.

I hope like he was able to read the familiarity between Arnav and Khushi, soon he will be able to see there relation as a couple and not of acquaintance or friends. And I hope he sees it before his feelngs get deeper for Khushi. Coz heart break is not good for anyone.

Another good that happened in this update was a sort of confession between Arnav and Khushi. I don't know whether it was Arnav's jealousy or possessiveness that made his tell Khushi about Shyam's interest on her. Or his mere sharing the fact what he read but it worked to make Khushi reveal about her Mumbai job offer and the reason of hiding it from Arnav.

Now with it all out and the job offer to stay back in Kotagiri with valid reason, she is close to Arnav, her man. What more they decided to live in the moment. Enjoy there present than think of future. They decided to take there relationship to next level, and you stopped right there😳😲.

Awesome update.. well good now lavanya knows all about akash and made him to realise that he shouldn't have spoken to his mother the way he had and she asked him to apologise and leave for rehabilitation.. well Akash agree for both.. good for akash he is getting a chance and wants him to utilise it fully.. So Khushi is having a valid reason to be in kotagiri near her man her Arnav.. Arnav seems to have purposely let Khushi know about shyam's interest in her so that she could take a step before shyam gets too serious and she can know what is happening around her.. good ARSHI are living in a moment.. loved the update..

Amazing, emotional and a romantic update!.

We have got to see the development between Akash and Lavanya. It's nice to see that he has finally found a girl for whom he is wiling to let go of alcohol. Alcoholism is indeed a sickness and you have portrayed it so wonderfully through Akash. Hoping to see him take the rehab seriously and emerge victorious. Lavanya is not a woman who he can mess around with. I like her attitude. She is a strong woman who knows exactly what she wants in life and how to deal with it. Akash on the other hand is exactly opposite. Maybe it's because of the tragedy which happened so early in his life coupled with his survival guilt. One can truly get tangled in one's own troubles and mind that they lose touch with the reality or practicality of life. This I believe is Akash's main problem.

Felt sad for Aarti, the woman is very strong but no one knows her internal turmoil. She doesn't show it, but that does not mean she cant feel. But at the same time she is difficult to sympathize with, so much so that her own kids cannot do that. I often wonder if its Anjali's tragedy which made her like this or there is more to it. Would love to read more about her too.

Second part was more light hearted. I hope Shyam does not turn an obsessive lover upon finding out about Khushi and Arnav. I think we, the readers are biased towards this attitude of Shyam because of his characterization in the Serial. I hope we are proved wrong. He seems like such a good man. It will be a pity to see him go the wrong way.

Khushi on the other hand has not yet noticed his liking towards her, but Arnav surely has. Maybe its because she is too exited about the offer. It is a very good offer and sounds genuine. Would really like to see how the mysteries revolving around their lives are unraveled.

Had not noted about Khushi being insecure because of a past hurt. But for now Arnav has it under control and after them having the taken the next step in their relationship, I hope it will only grow stronger.

Sounds greedy but can't wait to read the next update.

I love the intrigue which shrouds this story and the slow building of all characters including Arnav and Khushi!

So Khushi will not leave for a while now and they are moving on and how!!

Part 2
A lot happened in this update. Teen Vijay clearly caught in a trap and fearful of trusting anyone.
Shyam offering Khushi a job, a big plus for him for both official and personal interests, and while Khushi too is elated with the offer for multiple reasons, her personal reason is Arnav.
Arnav is shrewd to recognize SP's crush and glad that he did not hesitate to let Khushi know about it.
Arnav and Khushi are very comfortable in their relationship to be honest about their insecurities and desires which is all too clear at the end of the chapter. Awesome lush ending. 😛

😊 I am here.
Things are moving at full speed ahead.
Feeling bad for Lakshmi and her family, specially Vijay. The teenager is in deep trouble and just hoping he comes out ok from the clutches of the criminals.
Khushi's lucky evening. She gets the information she wanted from the police delivered to her doorstep by SP Shyam himself, a job offer plus more, no wonder Khushi is all smiles. Proud she spelled out her busy evenings.
Perfect timing for Arnav's arrival. No mincing of words, direct communication with Khushi about his observation re SP's personal interest in his girl. A good thing for Khushi to know since her instincts are a tad off-track.
Khushi and Arnav are a perfectly normal couple with all the nuances. A little wine, some praise, a little fight, a little ouchie, some honest insecurities, a lot of sucking & nibbling and lots of private stalking. Damn!! I wanted a peek or two!! 😛 😛

Great Chapter...loved it!! 👏

Awesome! The biggest question that is in my mind right now is what will Shyam do when he finds out about Arnav and Khushi's relation. Will he turn into a bad guy or will he still hold on to his integrity? Smart of Arnav to understand that Shyam is interested in Khushi. I am wondering how Khushi could not understand that, considering how smart she is... But then she is a complex character and has her issues.

By the way, Arnav is really sweet. He understands that Khushi has issues and is staying strong for both of them.

Also, it was great that finally Akash talked about his issues with Lavanya.

Waiting eagerly to find out what Shyam will do when he finds about Arnav and Khushi...

You are slowly building up the suspense in the story! It is amazing how you do it. Hands of Time is my favorite among all your stories. Also, thanks for the long updates 🤗

SP Shyam Ponnappa, not a Gentleman Caller and his personal agenda with Khushi is more at the forefront, starting with her being that journalist requesting two decades of information about the district's missing children, expediting the process, personally delivering the information out of Uniform and without prior mutual agreement or appointment, to me that is a breach in protocol and a crossing of the ethical line for a work related relationship since he also offered Khushi a paid job as a civilian research consultant with him as her boss. 😒

"Neither do we want a pissing game with the press nor do we want them to perceive us as difficult or worse yet, that we are covering up something. Deal with her in whatever way you see fit."

I am not and will not minimize the need for full inquisition and outing of the criminals in any way.
Also recognize the fact that only the Police can tackle the criminals and hence their involvement.
Neither am I insinuating that he is not otherwise devoted to his work or any such thing. By all means he is very devoted and very good at his job and reading people, most people. He knows the right buttons to push. Khushi is too needy for the information and he connected the dots between her and Anjali. Win win situation.
Khushi's inquiries may have returned "an officer of impeccable integrity" for Shyam, but he will remain a "Smooth talker" to me. His intentions may not be bad, but I am leary of overly pushy men when there is no established familiarity. An excited Khushi does stop at her ethical line and her busy evenings.

Timely arrival of Khushi's knight Arnav Raizada, a friendly, trusted and familiar connection, who maintained a cool flat eyed mild voiced demeanor and Shyam failed to read Arnav clearly.
Mr. Raizada and Mr. Ponnappa, very formal address on intro and farewell.

Interesting or is it really interesting. Waiting for Vishnu to meet Khushi. 😃

Khushi-Arnav are very attuned to each other and even though she carries remnants of a past hurt she is not afraid of sharing her fears with him. They talk to each other freely and honestly. He is quick to recognize her fears and steps forward with a soothing response. He also coaxes her gently towards positivity, to seize each day to move forward.
His compliment of her having great instincts was well timed after telling her about SP-SP's mega crush.
When a man is into you he is possessive and quick to recognize an intruder into his space. 😉
Khushi-Arnav are an ordinary regular normal couple. They do all the things you are supposed to do, drink a little, fight a little and then make sweet sweet dessert moments. Strike of midnight will ring in Khushi's birthday!!
I don't mind where you stopped. I will let my imagination run free and wild.

All the highlighted points are currently one dimensional or being shown from one perspective ... be it Shyam's or Khushi's. The clarity of various decisions and actions has barely skimmed the surface... it is to be continued :)

But one thing Shyam is not is pushy. He offers her an opportunity that she cannot resist but does not push her to take it.
