For me , all her scenes are very special , but in such special scenes she put her heart and soul in to that role while defining that character to eternal level .She was
a spectacularly brilliant actress, one who can handle any kind of role with ease, who has given the term versatility a new meaning, who can reduce the most hardened of hearts into a bundle of emotions with her performances.Her powerful display of anguish in that hotel room , for the insult Jagan meted out to her when she visited Mumbai to greet him , to be with him on his birthday . In that scene , her outcry for that insult , her flashy change of expressions were just like lightning blinds our eyes and numb our mind at once in such speed she conveyed her hurt and pain with that wail --
Then , for the first time she declared in the hall of Badi Haveli after hearing the news as she topped in the board exams , in that occasion while declaring " I too have a mind to think , I too have a heart to feel , enough , from now onwards I want to decide what I want to do in my life " --when Jagan questioned her why she did not take permission from him for her further studies ! What a power packed performance it was !!
Her dressing down to Jagan with a thunderous slap in the hotel room in front of Gowri , Dsa , and all the other family members prior to the divorce , to express exact feeling while delivering powerful dialogues is very difficult to any veteran actress , but she performed that day in an excellent manner .
In the previous night of her marriage with Shiv , while climbing the staircase , from there , looking up towards the rooms of her family members , in that expression , she reminded us one Suchitra Sen , and to some extent Meena Kumari too . Different situations , defining moments , she never under perform in any scene , all her scenes are well enacted ones .
While meeting Jagan in her room few minutes before her marriage , her expressions there were exceptionally great , beyond words , one has to see and applaud . Such a great actress she was .
