Shantidoot - A thankless job *EDIT*

Kar diya na shantidoot ko emotionally blackmail. Today instead of getting angry at Adarsh for being silent I was angry at his parents. They are so caught up in keeping up with their appearances that they are being blind to their son's distress. For them their status and what CM jee thinks is so important that they can happily sacrifice their son's happiness.🤢

I really felt so bad for this shantidoot today. He has taken up the responsibility of being the peacemaker and that has come to bite him in the ass today. He was right when he said he is stuck between his elder brother and his younger brother's past decisions. He has to be the sensible one now. "Sensible" as defined by Suhasini and Manohar and not the dictionnary meaning.

I have mentioned this before, when Jaidev said he wishes Adarsh doesnt pay the price of Abhay's mistake, actually he is paying the price of Abhay and Jaidev's mistake.

Sometimes, being a shantidoot can tangle you in a mess. Its a thankless job where people instead of appreciating you will end up taking advantage of you. That is exactly what Suha did today. She knew a little blackmailing especially from Manohar will ensure theres no hindrance in the marriage because she is not blind, if suraj can see the chemistry between Swadarsh and if his bros can see his distress then she is no idiot.

I'm sorry for such a long meloncholic post 😆 No humour from my side because well look at Adarsh, he looked so sad exactly like a luta pita aashiq 😆

Thats all for tonight.

Love,
Sadie! 😃

EDIT

Also I want to say that the SwaDarsh scene just nailed it for me today. There was a depth in them and I fell in love with Swadarsh. They are usually goofy or intense but today they both were vulnerable and it was so refreshing to see them in a new light.

A very good job CVs, keep up the good work!

this is why I did not bash adarsh earlier, because I knew there is something else underneath his silence. He is the middle child who is always expected to do the right thing, especially after abhay's decision and now he is burried under expectations. it is more complicated than simply being a spineless man or a coward.
Now I understand his obsession with swadheenta, he loves her but more than that, it is the only time he can think about himself. in her, he finds freedom from everyone's expectations and feels free to think with his heart.

@BOLD: You have a very valid point highlighted. Even I felt this a few time earlier.. He is a different person with Swadheenta.. A free Man. More open rather.. compared to how he is to his family and Vanshika.

Posting the same thing that I said on T's thread...

Yes, this is the Adarsh that I've been seeing right from the beginning. His character is relatable and quite close to heart and hence I was quite sad when people misunderstood him and called him all sorts of names. But yayy, I'm glad that people now understand him. :)

Completely agree with you. I was thinking the same thing while replying to one of the comments on my post, he can be himself in front if freedom and that is why is totally different when he is with Swa. Maybe this is the aazadi that Adarsh was talking about in the 1st episode when he says Kis cheez se aazadi dilane aayi ho.

Yes when she agreed for the roka I was one of the people who were super angry with him but from the very next episode even I understood him a bit more and started seeing things from his perspective. I'm glad the CVs actually showed the war that is going on inside him because of this burden of responsibility.

Aww T, Ik he was so cute today. And the Swadarsh scenes were on another level. I mean their scenes had a whole new level of depth in them. Usually their scenes are goofy or intense but today there was a vulnerability. I liked it.

Adarsh was a broken man !!! He badly wanted some relief and freedom was right there in front of him. Destiny one may call ...they find each other in weak moments ...another thing I noticed was swaadhentha reaction when Adarsh said she didn't open her heart for anyone else ...it was like she absorbed it silently ...even Asad mentioned somewhat the same ...possibly she had been tied to Jeevan, so loving someone was never a choice for her ...just a random thought ; not sure about it

If it's all set for engagement, then what's the point of confession ?😕..it looks ill-timed or may be something will happen in bw for him to not give up!
