This is a product of procrastination and writing through FRIENDS marathon so excuse the abruptness and the short length.
"Aik number ka ghatiya insane hai. Nukari mil gai tou kiya yeh matlab hai ki biwi ko bhool jao? Har waqt kam. Har waqt parhai. Kabhi koi deadline tou kabhi koi deadline. Aisa he chalta raha tou mere bhi deadline aa jaye gi aur yeh apne laptop mein he gusa rahe ga!" Twinkle muttered to herself walking back and forth in room.
She looked at the alarm clock on her bedside before throwing herself on the bed and burying her face in the pillow. That idiot husband of hers knew nothing about anything.
"Kehta hai ke mein romance ka band bajja deti hoon par khud tou aik hafte se aise akar ke phir raha hai jaise is ko mere kisi bhi cheez se koi farak hi nahi parta!" she huffed into the pillow.
Kunj walked in the room to see his wife lying on her stomach and angry muffling coming from the pillow her face was buried in. His last class was cancelled today so the students could prepare for finals and for once since last week, he was excited to come home because he won't be seeing a pile of work to be done right away but could actually spend sometime with his wife, however the position he was seeing Twinkle did not appear as something that would turn out like what he had hoped for.
"Twinkle." he sheepishly uttered, dropping his bag on the couch. "Tu theek hai na?"
Hearing his voice she pulled her head up and stared at him with all the anger she could muster. "Yaad aa gaya ke biwi bhi hai tumhari!" She sat up, throwing the pillow at him.
"Yaar mein koi jaan ke thori tumhe ignore kar raha tha!" he started off hesitantly.
"Aaisa kya!" She scorned at him, "Tou phir mere, mere itna kuch karne ke baad bhi tum kamre mein kyun nahi aa rahe the jab mein bula rahe thi tou? Bolo! Kya kya nahi kiye mein ne!"
"Dekh Twinkle. Agar mein teri baat sun leta tou time kab nikal jata, pata hi nahi chalta aur mera sara kaam reh jata aur phir yeh akhri semester hai. Kuch he aur dinoon mein tou khatam ho jaye ga." He tried to explain calmly but the anger on her face was refusing to go.
"Acha aaj tou mein jaldi ghar aa giya na. Aur pata hai aaj mujhe aalg se study mein bhi nahi jana because mein ne weekend pe koi kaam pending nahi chora!" he added on gleefully trying to see a shift in her expressions. She stared at him with the same amount of intensity, her neck stiffened and her expressions refusing to budge.
"Twinkle!! Kuch bol tou sahi!"
"TWINKLE!!"
"Mein ne kitna kuch nahi kiya! Room decorate kiya, apne pictures bhejein, itne dafa aa ke tum se chipki par nahi! Uss waqt toh 'baad mein Twinkle, baad mein Twinkle' bol kar aur baghair mere taraf dekhe uthe ke chale gaye!" She replied throwing all the pillows on the bed at him. "Abb bukhto Kunj Sarna. Aab mein nahi aaoin gi tumhare pas!"
She huffed as she walked out the room and he sat struck.
"Pictures? Kon si pictures?" he questioned himself pulling his phone out and scrolling through the text messages before stopping abruptly in the middle. Good Lord, he thought to himself; What kind of crime has he committed.

Kunj walked down the stairs lost in his thoughts and tightly holding on to his phone. He knew if he tried way too hard by setting up a date-like atmosphere or by taking her out, she wouldn't readily agree and it would be way too time consuming for him as well. What was something she really liked about him and wouldn't require much time but just as much effort?
"Oye Kunj! Tu ne kheer try ki. Bari achi hai yaar!" Cherry came to him holding a small bowl in his hand, shaking him out of his thoughts.
"Huh?.. Oh, oh woh nahi. Mein khana kahne ja he raha hoon."
"Acha? Bhabhi ji ne tou kal bani thi. Tere le alag se rakhi bhi thi kyunke mein ne rasoi mein ja kar achi khasi apne lei le li thi. Bara chir gayin thi ke tere leye nahi bache ga. Ja ke kah le take baki ke mein le sakoon, theek hai."
"Ji bache gi to app aa kar le lena." Kunj replied amused.
Walking towards the kitchen, he spotted her putting food in the refrigerator. He looked around before walking in, from behind her and encircling his arms around her waist.
"KUNJ!" there was a edge of warning in her tone.
He slowly stepped away from her as she turned around to face him. He smiled sheepishly, holding his hands up to his ears.
"Maaf kar de na Twinkle. Main ne jaan ke thori nahi kiya."
She glared at him before continuing her work.
"Karoon tou karoon bhi kiya?" he muttered to himself. "Kheer maango?" he questioned looking at her opening the refrigerator again.
"Arre Kunj puttar? Tu yahan kiya kar raha hai? Kuch chaiye tha?" Bebe questioned him curiously with a hint of playfulness in her tone to see her nephew standing in the kitchen with an aloof expression. "Twinkle putter, Cherry ke leye bache hui kheer de de. Kab se baat baat mein kheer yaad aa rah hai usse."
"Ji." she replied nodding
"Mujhe bhi. Mujhe bhi thori se chaiye."
"Tu yahan pe kheer de vaaste khara hai." she peered at him before looking at Twinkle's solemn expression. "Tum done mein pher se jhagrah hua hai?"
"Nahi tou Bebe." his tone faltered as he looked towards her. She glared towards him, pushing the bowl of kheer towards him.
"Mein yeh Cherry bhiaya ko de aati hoon."
"Nahi puttar, mujhe de de." she intervened sensing the tension between the two. "Yeh roz roz ke laraiyaan koi achi nahi hain, samaj rahe ho tum dono. Sirf dooriyan barathi hain. Tum dono ko kitna samjaya hai par tum dono ho ke sunte hi nahi ho. Abb kal subha mein uthoon tou dono haste huwe dekho!"
"Ji." they uttered simultaneously.

"Tu aakir kyun nahi maan rahi Twinkle. Mein ne jaan puche ke thori na ignore kiya tha tumhe." he pleaded as she threw his pillow towards the couch while he put the lock up on the door after closing it.
"Twinkle!"
She pretended to yawn and moved towards the cupboard to pull out her pajamas. Being close to the cupboard he pulled her waist towards him, tightening his grip around her.
"Yeh tum kiya kar rahe ho?!" she exclaimed through her gritted teeth.
"Tum ne kaha ke tum nahi aao gi mere pas. Yeh tou nahi kaha ke mein nahi aa sakta tumhare pas."
"huh?" she replied confused, already feeling her anger dissolving under his tender gaze but trying hard to keep her composure.
"Itne dino tak tou mein apne biwi ko saahi se dekh bhi nahi paya aur jab muaka mila hai tou," he moved closer to her, fully aware of her hitched breathing.
"Tou?" she questioned dazed.
"Tou kiya?" his tone returned to normalacy as he backed away from her and continued to quip, "Biwi naraz ho gaye hai. Waise kaafe understanding hai par abhi naraz ho gayi hai. App batao raise mannaoun?"
Regaining her conscious, she patted her face and turned around shakily. "Mujhe kiya pata?"
Knowing fully well she was going to escape, he pulled her hand towards her, letting her crash onto him and the dress slipping out of her hand. "Bohot pyar karta hoon uss se. Aik minute ke liye bhi rhoothi hain na tou much bardassht nahi hota." he uttered slowly.
"Aakhir uss ke hassi se hi tou chalti hai na mere zindagi."
"Haad hai bas! Filmy dialogue bolna koi tum se sekhe!" she uttered, abruptly breaking into laughter and breaking away from his grip around her.
"Kiya filmy? Itne original dialogue marta hoon!"
"Bas bas dekh liya!" she replied catching her breath, picking up the fallen dress and sitting on her side of the bed, with a faint smile adorning her face.
He sat beside her, snaking her arms around her and tickled her sides just as she looked at him expecting something else. "KUNJ! KUNJ!!!"
"Kya Kunj!!" He tickled her further until she fell on the bed squealing and giggling. He rolled over on top of her, inching closer to her as she caught her breath. "Tou, when am I seeing those pretty things you sent pictures of?!"
"Kunj!" she gasped
"Twinkle?" he replied mischievously, pulling her dupatta out of her neck and throwing away. Her hans reached up around her neck as he leaned in to kiss.

The lights shone through the balcony doorway onto Twinkle's face waking her up. Her face scrunched as she pushed Kunj's arm off her to sit up only to realize vital pieces of clothing missing from her body.
Sitting up, she pulled the quilt underneath her arms before leaning against the headboard and letting her eyes rest upon her husband's face. He seemed like the most ordinary person yet he was just way too much extraordinary for her.
"Twinkle!" he mumbled sleepily.
"hmm."
"Itna tar mat. Tera hi pati hoon." he spoke opening his eyes and pulling her down. "Aur agar tarrna he hai, tou itna door door kyun hai. Idaar aa."
"Kunj, subha subha!"
"Aik kiss tou banta hai, malka-e-husan!" he replied cheekily, pushing himself up against the bed while keeping his hold on her.
She shied away smiling before leaning in to place a soft peck on corner of his lips and breaking away. "Good Morning."
"Tou sare gustakheiyon ke liye maaf kiya?" he questioned flirtatiously
She nodded pulling his cheeks and leaning down to pick up his shirt to throw over her head, to head out to shower while he slipped down the quilt and breathed a sigh of relief for being at peace. Nothing could ever get better then this.
