Our MLA &MP's come to power not to help people but to help themselves..and when election's are near they go back making huge promises that are never to be fulfilled.

@bold-Yes,nowadays God has become an instant solution for people where people just have to come,pray,shower offerings and expect all their sins will be washed away without facing any consequence.

Initially I had thought you were about bring the similarity with Mahabharata but the present day example was more important .

Largely in the ancient days due to the knowledge and practice of dharma by one and all , it was democracy in monarchy where as now it's the reverse due to the lack of dharma !

Right from common man up to any body up in the hirarchey its the absence of dharma that plays the effect . Starting from voting the representative there seems a problem .

Though it seems like we come upon the same solution for all or several troubles , it's time and agAin the impartation of right knowledge from the beginning that seems to be the problem .

Well, yes your experience with railways has been very good one to hear . It seems like they are doing a good job for sure which gets another authentication ( other than those read in Twitter etc)after hearing you experience ! Hope there is a change in the real sense coming up !

There does seem like the change for good is in the corner , which until a few years back seemed like a utopian dream !

There seems a lot of change in the way people respond to the various issues through social media etc and as such the dependence on the main news dailys that take sides for certain groups have lessend .

Well , getting back to roots - Ramayana read with the view of understanding the real essence of it rather than just the external show is the answer to a lot of problems of the world today !

@vipraja yes you said the right thing. Lack of dharma or right knowledge is the root of all problems. You know see whenever I have read Ramayana Bharat comes across as sevak or care taker. So I have never thought anything about it than the literal meaning. But yesterday in SKR they used a very beautiful word. Prathinidhi or representative and the whole idea changed. It was just a word but it gave altogether a different meaning for the way Bharat ruled or rather how someone in power has to rule.

Railways I can vouch for Vipraja. It is not only that incident in general railways have improved a lot. I am a regular weekend traveler in railways from 2008 and believe from 2011-2014 it was pathetic to travel in train. Fares were not raised. But windows wont open properly. foot rest broken, some bogies changed at last minute, light not there, some seats you have to kick them so that they fold properly and trains were very very dirty. Food. I had food poisoning twice and my husband thrice and we stopped eating from train completely. But with the new government things have improved and currently trains are clean, windows open, I don't have to kick any seat, foot rest is proper, lights and fan working. Food also have improved. I have read they take sample survey on railway service for every train from those who book on IRCTC and couple of times I have received such calls.

Whether someone agree or not, irrespective of the faults I feel after a long time there is governance in this country.
