They aren't in love , but they are slowly getting used to each other rather each other's presence in their lives.
Dev was flirting with her , the Dev Dixit , who is hardly able to express , called her 'the best' ; 'aap Chalo jaayengi toh' ; 'aapko paane Ke liye..'
He exerts an unusual right on her , which Sonakshi would have ideally spoken against.
Sonakshi lets him , Sona lets him do it . She has a soft corner for him , amidst all those fights , there's an unknown connection that she has with him .
The way she stared at him while eating the ice-cream, the way he put the seat-belt on , though he could have told her to .
Just subtle hints of a deep connection / attraction . That the both of them don't acknowledge .

Well said. Today at the end of the dance they are just engrossed in each other which shows their heart to heart connection and suddenly sona realised it and left the dance floor. At the time of eating ice cream she is just staring him and said yeh kya kari hai sona.loved today's episode.

Love your explanation! But also I love the way the title song was put into it... I felt the emotions were high and the vibes were very mixed; confused, subtle, and a bit of nok jhoks.
