Fascinating!!!
I am loving this futuristic version of our starry lovers, who are a little adrift, but no worries, Jen is here on a unification mission. 😉
Admiral Gupta, half Vulcan, love it, Doc NK with slanted eyebrows is all Vulcan and Arnav is the warm blooded cutesy human who manages to rile her still., just thrilled.
Not a huge trekkie, but am so looking forward to this tale. Like the set-up, the gadgets and workings of a Starship and Space. I have to refresh some old memories, but must say you have done a great job of putting this together with total grace and full justice to human emotions that exist across any timeline.
Waiting for more already!! 😆

Jen, You dit it!! Way to go!! I am so impressed, not that I wasn't before. You embraced a Sc-Fi concept and started this heart warming story to bring together two souls forever bound in any lifetime in any Universe. 👏
Khushi, Rear Admiral Gupta, Chief of Vulcan Star Fleet operations and Captain of a Starship, our shining Vulcan who is also half Human. She is predominantly ruled by her Vulcan teachings, basically mind over heart. She is in a relationship with NK, a Vulcan Physician who knows about Arnav and not bothered by it, a really cold Vulcan I say. 😃
They are lying in the same bed, talking, just talking; well, why not..damn those uncontrollable human urges that get you in trouble every time!! I am looking forward to pon farr and kal-if-fee. 😛
Safe arrival on Eath 1.0 and here comes, Chief of Field Operations and eminent reconstruction archeologist, Arnav S. Raizada. 😛
Awww, hot blooded brown eyed hunky Earthling and cold blooded hazel eyed part Vulcan hottie should make for a warm perfect blend of earthy swirly rhythms. What, I am thinking an ice-cream sundae with hot fudge!! 😆 😛
There is a past...childhood, SF Academy days and more!!
BTW, loved the Elucidator tablet and Captain G has a most efficient personal Tech Support crew member. 😃

Absolutely love this rendition of Vulcan-Human love story. Jen, you are amazing and I am tickled silly. Arnav's ancestors are from a devastated Earth and he has returned to revive it after the Apocalypse. Khushi is on a follow up mission to visit the Archaeological team and with personal reserve. Eager to know more about their closeness before Arnav left Vulcan. I feel like I am watching a Star Trek episode with the gadgets, warp speed, Scotty and all. I am speechless. Love it and of course love both your Khushi and Arnav.

Jen, sorry for the late comments.

What an interesting concept you are writing. Kudos to you for writing an Arshi story with a Star Trek background.

I do not have much idea about Star Trek, so took my son's help in understanding this update. And once he started explaining what is happening to me, I was amazed more and more about your talent Jen.

It is amazing how you have incorporated a Sci-Fi series into an Arshi story. 👏

It was fascinating to know about Vulcans and compare it with us humans.

So Khushi is half Vulcan and half human.

And Arnav I am guessing is completely human.

The details like it is 3500 years since the apocalypse and now humans have made Vulcan their new home and all the other information was very fascinating to read.

I love Arnav's spirit and belief that Earth can be restored back.

The initial scene Khushi walks up to the observation deck and watches the space surrounding the starship reminded me of the scene from the movie "Contact", where after emerging out of the warp hole, Jodie Foster sees the part of universe in front of her with so many galaxies, stars, planets, their moons. That scene had touched my mind so much when I had seen it for the first time and today reading Khushi looking out from the deck gave me the same feeling.

"Are we alone?" and "What is our future?" are the two questions which probably plague every intellectual person in this world and today again this update made me think of the two questions again.

If there is an apocalypse on Earth, can we be able to find a new home or will our race and the many other species on our present home be wiped out forever?

Anyway coming back to the story, eager to read where this story is leading us?

So are Jha and NK, humans or Vulcans or mix?

Jenny, I love your take on a charming love story set amid parallel universes and extra-terrestrial life. ❤️ 👏

The gorgeous Rear Admiral Khushi Gupta is interestingly half Vulcan and half human, but it is her Vulcan half which dominates her heart and mind. Her cool composure and stringent self control are severely rattled by the reoccurring thoughts of Arnav's "soft brown eyes" and the feel of his "pleasantly hot skin".😉

The suave and in command Chief of Field Operations Arnav Raizada enjoys provoking Khushi. I foresee some spectacular fireworks in the near future as Arnav prods and Khushi reacts!! 😆

Excitedly waiting to be teleported to the future once again next week. ❤️🤗
