Is Adarsh really an IAS officer??!! I mean really.. A man who cannot voice his opinion, one who cannot even take a stand for his own life how can that person do duties towards country!

Poor characterization by the CVs!

Adarsh is shown as a spineless guy who cant even tell his own mother that he doesnt want to marry this girl she showed him.

Leave alone confessing about his crush on swadeenta. I agree that you cant go around saying you love so and so person when the other person is still not said yes to it. But atleast you can tell your parents that you need time before you go for an engagement or Roka.. How can you let others decide things for you.. When you know you arent happy you should atleast be frank about that..

And what is this word to Mom.. She just said she will look for the girl for him.. she never took promise that you should marry the girl she looks for you.. You can say a no or ask her to give time before all this crap!

CVs, please stop butchering Adarsh character and let him take a stand.. Please do not show him so confused and spineless!

even I was very angry when i saw the episode..

now after having read the many posts.. I feel he is really taking baby steps towards freedom.. like freedom from the rigid rules of sinha family!

When one has been so conditioned in ones response from childhood it becomes very difficult to break away from the mould you have been typecasted in. He is sure what he says is bound to disappoint his family. He is trying his best to consolidate his relationship before he speaks up. Imagine the plight of the guy when he is treated like he is cheap stalker and labelled as her problem by Freedom. He has to salvage the situation by not disappointing the two women that matter in his life. Speaking too soon may cost her career to Freedom and she is so deeply invested in it and has had to fight battles already to be where she is. So it is not that Adarsh is spineless he is not impetuous as Asad. Both he and freedom demonstrate the same maturity seen in the professor in handling relationships...not intrusive not overbearing but guarded and responsible.

i agree.. And I dont expect adarsh to open up on his relation or love towards swa to anyone now unless its confirmed.. But he can atleast tell people that he doesnt want to marry vanshika now.. Its a personal choice.. Doesnt really need a gf to reject another proposal.. There can b multiple reasons.. I myself had said NO to many proposals becoz i didnt find comfortable with that person.. Ut was not bcoz i had another bf!

So what i expect CVs to do is atleast b a li'l real and let Adarsh take a stand!!
