The play of destiny... Sita?

It is very rightly said "we may desire for many things in life, but only that happens which is destined to happen"
All the mortal beings are born, they have their own destinies..
They have a family, meet new people, experience happiness, sorrow and finally death, everything is already scripted by Lord..

It was Ram's destiny to go to exile.. No one can be held responsible for it.. Neither Dashrat who was cursed to suffer Putra viyog, nor Kaikeyi whose ambition led her to send her favourite son on exile, nor Manthara whose sadistic approach led to this rift, nor Bharat who thinks himself to be the cause of this situation.. All of them just acted as catalysts to serve a much greater purpose, the true purpose for which Lord Vishnu took birth as Ram..

Bharat is living in guilt that it was because of him that his beloved brother was banished, but little he knows that he is serving a much greater purpose.. Kaikeyi acted as the greatest catalyst for making Ram stead forth towards his destination..
That's how destiny played it's game..

Now the question arises what was Sita's destiny? Sita is Bhumija.. She found pleasure in being close to the nature.. So did Ram anyhow act as a catalyst in bringing her close to the nature... Was vanvas written in her destiny too or she went with Ram just to support him .. Or she went there for serving the much greater purpose of Ravan vadh.. But then if the purpose of her life ends there, then why was she banished again ?

I would love my lovely forum members to contribute to this discussion ..

PS : this is just based on my understanding of epic and I am a beginner in mytho, pl. pardon me for any mistake and do correct me, all of ur views will be appreciated..

Aditi lovely topic for discussion. I will provide more comments at night.🤗🤗
I think and believe that destiny does define our lives. Sometimes we all are living our lives but fate sometimes changes our lives and those around us.

@aditi: Good thought provoking post. Yes, if we believe in destiny than its the destiny which is the cause of everything. If we don't have faith in destiny/fate then everything is due to our own actions.
In general, a part of some happening is according to destiny and rest is by the action of someone is unacceptable. So as you pointed, if all events till the end of exile of Ram-Sita is according to destiny, then eventually banishment of Sita is also as per her destiny.

DESTINY...It's so confusing😕
🤔In the first place is there something called destiny ???
Or is it just our actions, our karma ..
If everything is destined, can't we justify the crimes of all human beings saying they were just puppets of time and destiny ???

Even I believe in karma more than destiny but SKR dialogues make me swing towards destiny ...

Sometimes even due to no mistake of ours suffering haunts us, so should we call it a catalyst to serve a greater purpose or a mere punishment of our karma in prev life, is something what confuses me

It truly depends on our mind set. If you believe in prebirth and rebirth concept then, yes destiny also exist. The end/ target is already framed w.r.t to our karma but the path to reach is our choice. All wants to lead a peaceful life but what gives peace depends on individual.

@bold: This one is the real beauty. Under this phrase, even the terrorism can also be justified. But the truth is what made you chose the path? Time always gives us options, and its we who chose it. Why we did and what we did is always debatable but how we did it, is something we should be very careful about.
Hope mine is not so boring.
I know giving lecture is so easy, but the one who is in the receiving end only knows the pain.😉 So I stop with it. Hope you get some light from these words.

@aditi good thought provoking post. I have put some thought regarding this in DD symbolism thread. But based on my understanding or what I see today after travelling a bit in my quest to find an answer to my problem is that every human being is supposed to have a unique path. A journey which an individual has to take. Just like the finger prints identifies us uniquely our journey is also unique. Each one of us has come into the universe to bring about a change.
What is the change we are supposed to bring well if we try to understand the clues will appear. It is like a treasure hunt. If you manage to unravel one clue, next clue will come.
For that first you have to accept that yours is a unique path. Then take the journey. Problem is yes it is our actions that unlock our destiny. But then to do the actions that lead us to our destiny we need the knowledge.
There is a famous line by APJ " Everyone wants to be unique, while the whole world is trying to make them same"
Prakriti has made you unique, while Sanskriti expects you to be same. The one who manages to balance out Prakriti and Sanskriti does the right actions and reaches the destiny. If one is more you will not get the clue. And many times potential remains unrealized in the trappings of sanskriti or the emotional outpour of prakriti.
I guess Ram-Sita wanted to show the world the blend of sanskriti and prakriti. And how it needs to be balanced. Sita's banishment I guess served the purpose of she understanding sanskriti and Ram understanding Prakriti in true sense.
