why does not big stars work with kangna ?

So if an actress works with Big stars, she is mocked for being flowerpot. (Case in point: Kareena)

But an actress is still mocked if those big stars don't work with her.

Chit bhi apni. pat bhi apni. IF is amazing. 😆😆

Edit to add: And if the big stars are khan uncles, I am glad she is far away from them. It is no great achievement to have worked with big stars.

Highway did a lot for Alia. People know she can act now.

Mary Kom did more for Priyanka than all the movies she got from Dharma and YRF.

In this vein, you have Chameli for Kareena, Raincoat for Aishwarya...

Then again, some directors write really good roles for actresses and Kangna attracts them which is a good thing.

No lies detected. The irony is that when any actress signs 'big star' movies or talks about doing such stuff, they are laughed off for being flowerpots or bragging about achievements/success that aren't of their making or any importance (Kareena being the prime example.) So when some actress isn't doing this...how is it anything to hold against her? 😕 If anything, it just shows she doesn't need floaties and is going her own way. And this whole issue just reflects back on what you rightly said about times changing in BW...gone are the days when being a part of the 'masala entertainer' was equal to great success. The perception has greatly changed and long term winners are those who show achievement on some personal merit.

Aamir was absolutely fine with being paired up with non-actress Katrina in D3 because at the time Kat was a huge hit

So in this case, Kangana does not need the big stars, she needs the good films. As long as she does good films and the audience likes her, her career will go forward (and the same people avoiding her now will go on to fawn over her). The opposite is true as well; if her films flop, then she's done, simple as that.
