Do you sincerely think that had Deepika been Katti Batti, the movie would have faired better? No. Why? Because the movie wasn't good.

The actress can deliver but if the movie is shitty people might not want to sit through it. Tamasha didn't fare well despite the hype it generated. Of course, the movie was average to good (depending on people's opinion) but it wasn't to everyone's taste so the movie didn't fare well.

Kangna has 3 movies lined up as of now and in each of them she has a proeminent role. Be in Julia in Vishal's Rangoon, Simran in Hansal's Simran or Rani Lakhshi Bhai in Kehtan Rani of Jhansi.

Deepika has yet to do a movie were the movie is solely revolving around her. You might argue that she did Piku but she shared the screen living legend Amitabh Bachchan and critically acclaimed Irrfan Khan.

Let's see how a movie will fare when Deepika will be the only big name. I don't think that producers will put a lot of money on the budget as it would be a woman centric. That's how it seems to work.

Third she thinks that all the movies are hit because of her. She is wrong. Cotent and good direction matters.A movie cannot ride on her shoulders. Katti Batti is the clear example. Queen and TMWR had a good content and direction.

As far as Deepika is concerned she is doing quite well for herself. She has more fans than Kangana has and is much liked in Bollywood than your favorite. She even does not needs to be present in the country to stay in news. Her rivals like Kangana and Sonam keep using her name all the time to stay in news.

I don't freaking care about her affairs. It's her personnal life. It's high time these actors were called out on their behaviours. I hope that now actresses who don't have a backing will have the guts to stand out for themeselves (even privately).

FYI she's most likely not the only actress to chase married actors, only the most vocal one... And she's not the married one!

She had a limited screen presence in KB and she's never said that the successes of TWMR or Queen were solely due to her presence. She even said that TWMR wasn't a woman-centric movie when journos were trying to claim otherwise.

If Kangna as self-centered as you seem to claim that she is, directors wouldn't be lining up to work with her again.

She finally tasted success after almost 10 years in the industrie. It's no wonder she was bitter to begin with when she had been aknowledged as a good actress (she won FF Best debut and won the NA best supporting for her 6th movie) but wasn't aknowledged by the biggies who preffered to work with more average but commercial actresses.

Ouch! Like it's being said more and more, content is king. So who cares that Deepika has a bigger fanbase. That's not where the problem lies imo. Like I said before, she'll have to choose a very good script and act in woman centric movie to confirm that she rules it all.

I don't care about her truthfully, I'm just pointing out that she's never done something on her. She's always played it safe and worked with biggies (I'm not saying it's wrong, it's her strategy afterall)**
