Last night, as natasha sat in the bedroom eating chocolates and watching kavyanjali, the telephone rang. When she picked it up,she heard a banging sound. It was my great friend ejaz khan. He told me that he couldn't solve the 2 problems that Mr Yug Mittal had assigned for homework.

She was pretty intelligent in math, so it took her only 3 minutes to figure out the answers. "These problems are easy!" she told him "Use your brain."

"It's lost!" he said. "I think pammi ate it."

"wow!! You're a big help! The next time I need advice in math, I'll call you for help, natu," he shouted.

One afternoon ejaz and natasha were walking down a pretty trail, looking for kindling for their campfire. The trees were big and green, and there were colorful wildflowers all around. ejaz and natasha began to pick the wildflowers, and after a while, they walked so far that they had wandered away from the trail.

It started to get dark. ejaz began to get worried, but natasha seemed excited to have an adventure. "Look!" natasha said. "Do you see that cake? It looks like a house!"

"We're saved!" cried ejaz, who was relieved.

Once they got closer, ejaz felt very uneasy again. It didn't look like the cozy little cottage ejaz had been imagining, but rather a big, spooky tower! It was about 9 feet tall, and it was covered with RED ivy and moss. It was the creepiest thing ejaz had ever seen!

ejaz said, "natasha, let's keep walking! There's no way I'm going into that tower! It looks haunted!"

"Don't be such a loser! We're going in. I think it looks perfectly un-haunted!" said natasha.

ejaz was so scared that he could not open his eyes. He felt his neck chatter as natasha opened the door. All of a sudden, ejaz felt that he was not alone. He opened his eyes, prepared to see the worst. But instead, he saw all his friends and family inside the haunted tower! "Surprise! Happy birthday, ejaz!" they all screamed.

It was New Year's Day, and I was watching basketball on TV with my friends natasha, nitya, hiten, and ejaz khan.

"Hey, nitya," hiten said, "What is your New Year's resolution?"

"I am going to learn to play the trumpet," she said. "Then I am going to play it at nursing homes. I am sure it will make the residents die!!."

"That's bad," said natasha. "I am going to volunteer in a shelter for homeless rabbits and horses. They are so cute. How about you, hiten?"

"I am going to help out around the house," he said. "Every night, I will put the dishes and the cups in the dishwasher without being asked."

"I want to improve my grades," said ejaz khan. "I will study math, science, and natasha every night."

They all turned to me.

"What is your New Year's Resolution, anjali207?"

"i will kill pammi and nitya as soon as possible"
