"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked kneeling in front of her with the ring. Tears of happiness welled in her eyes and she nodded a yes and he made her wear the ring.

They were the best of friends, but she had a secret crush on him .
"Roshini, wru? I want to meet you immediately" he shouted on the phone.
"What happened Sid? Are you alright?" she asked concerned.
"Come fast to the park near your home" he said cutting the call. She ran to see him immediately. He was waiting for her impatiently in the park. She ran towards him.
"Sid, Are you alright?" she asked him.
"yes, yes. I have to tell you something" he said looking at the ground and she looked at him confused. "I have never experienced something like this before" he continued. She smiled at him.
"Okay, I don't want to hide any further. I think I love smiti" he said smiling at her happily but her smiled vanished that moment. Tears started to well up in her eyes.
"Hey, are you alright? Are you crying?" he asked going near her. She immediately hugged him saying "I'm so happy for you"
"Arey pagal.. Are you crying for my happiness" he said hugging her back."Listen you have to help me" he said to her and she nodded silently.
That evening, Roshini brought smiti to the place where Sid asked her to bring. He decorated the place beautifully and waited for them. Sid proposed to her and she accepted. Roshini left the place silently with tears.
A pair of eyes followed her. "I know you love my brother" Pinto said to Roshini. She went and hugged him tightly letting her tears flow out. He patted her consoling her. "Don't worry , he will understand your love" he said to her.
"I just want him to be happy" she said leaving the place. Pinto felt bad for her.

The next day Sid called her and informed her to come for a movie along with smiti, "you come to the enterance and wait with Smiti. I will bring the car" he said.
Roshini went to the entrance and saw smiti waiting. "Hi Smiti" she called her.
"Hi Roshini. Are you coming to movie with us?" she asked her.
"Yeah , Sid called me" she said.
"I thought to spend some time alone with him" smiti said frowning her face. By that time , Sid came with his car.
"Sid , I got some important work to do. You guys go. I ll see you later" Roshini said leaving the place. Sid started to talk but she left without listening.
"Arey, what happened to her?" Sid asked Smiti.
"I don't know" she said with a innocent face. Sid felt bad. Inbetween the movie Sid kept thinking why Roshini did so.
"I'm not feeling well. Shall we go home?" he asked Smiti inbetween the movies.
"Okay" she said with half-heart. Sid dropped her at her home and went to his home.
The next day Roshini asked Smiti about Sid."Roshini, Don't take me wrong. But it will be better if you stop caring about Sid. I'm there for him" she said bluntly. Roshini was hurt completely. She left the place without meeting Sid.
"Why don't tell Sid?I saw the way she talked to you" Pinto asked her.
"She is his girlfriend. She has all rights to be possessive" she said looking side ways.
"Come I will drop you" he said to her and she went with him.
The moment Sid entered, "Where is Roshini?" he asked Smiti.
"Can we go? My friend is waiting for us.. " she said pulling Sid.
"Wait. I will call her" Sid said taking his phone.
"No need. I dialled her. She said she is having work and asked us to go" she said to him.
In the party, everyone was enjoying except Sid. He could not understand Roshini's weird behaviour. He left the place without informing anyone.
Sid could not sleep. He kept turning around. Pinto noticed this and switched on the lights.
"Bhai, aren't you asleep?" he asked him.
"No yaar. This Roshini naa... " he started
"Are you thinking about Roshini at this time?" Pinto asked quite surprised.
"She is behaving weirdly for the past few days" he said to Pinto.
"You are worrying for Roshini. Looks like she is your girlfriend" Pinto said smiling.
"Yaar. She is my best friend" he said back.
"Sirf friend?" Pinto asked lying down back to sleep. Sid got surprised at his words and slept thinking of Roshini.
Next morning in college, Sid noticed Smiti scolding Roshini. "Why can't you leave him?" Smiti snapped at Roshini.
"I didn't do anything. Infact, I stopped talking to him the day you told me" she said defending herself.
"Please leave Sid and me alone forever" she shouted and Roshini ran crying.
Sid entered pretending as if nothing happened. Smiti noticed him, "I'm angry on you, for leaving me alone at the party yesterday" she said faking and turned away.
"I don't care" he said politely. "What ?" she asked confused.
"I said I don't care" he shouted at her."I saw the way you spoke to Roshini. Now I understand everything" he said turning towards her.
"Oh, so you listened. Yes, I told her to be away from you. I love you and I want to be the first person in your life. But seems like Roshini is your first priority. That's why I told her so" she said to him. She heard a hard slap on her face.
"Roshini has never complained about anything. She always stood for me and you asked her to be away from me" he shouted at her.
"Looks like you love her not me" Smiti shouted back at him and left the place. Sid felt very bad for Roshini. He recalled their memories.
He recalled her cry that day when he confessed his love for smiti. He recalled how she considered his happiness. He recalled how she sacrificed for him. He smiled thinking of her.

He called Pinto immediately and asked him to come home.
"You know, right?" Sid asked him.
"What are you asking" Pinto asked.
"That Roshini loves me" he said back.
"wow, bhai. Finally you got your brain back. I'm so happy for you" he said controlling his laughter and hugged him.
"Chal .. You have to help me" he said to him.
Pinto called Roshini. "Roshini , Roshini, Wru?" he said tensed.
"I'm in home. why are you so tensed?" she asked him
"Sid, wo Sid. Come home immediately" he said cutting the call. Roshini ran to Sid's home. She opened the door to find noone. She ran to his room and opened it and found it dark.
"Sid" she shouted with tears. The room lights got turned on. The entire room was filled with photo of hers. She looked around to find him standing at the corner looking at her.
