Innocence doesn't think, it just is...
It exists, in its most natural form,
That's why it is innocence,
Shatrughan , the youngest of four, technically same as Laxman,
But there is no difference in the two,
They are one and the same..
Born as twins, born to the same mother,
If anger is Laxmans forte, innocence is Shatrughan's,
Both are devoted to respective elder brothers Ram and Bharat,
And in this duality of anger and innocence...
They are both impulsive.
Laxman has shown this quality numerous times, jumping to conclusions
And reacting before thinking, mostly in anger...
Shatrughan , although a calm person so far, acted on impulse,
When he dragged Manthra through the palace corridors
When he threatened Kaikeyi with a sword
When he thought of only revenge at his fathers funeral pyre...
Shatrughan, in all his innocence, reacted with anger.
His reaction was not different from his mother Sumitra,
Who told Kaikeyi what she thought of her after this entire incident...she even asked her to stop shedding tears at Dashrath's death...
His reaction was not different from his brother Laxman,
Who marched to battle with Bharat upon hearing the news of Kaikeyis wishes and impulsively reaching to conclusions that Bharat is part of this conspiracy ...
Just so, innocence doesn't THINK between right or wrong,
It just is, it just feels...
Good episodes, giving space to all characters and highlighting their nuances.
