I think rd done a good job. Basically pihu is not ruhi, so she acted according to character demand. It's not easy for 7 years old child to change within that short period of time, but she put it off well.

More than pihu, I thought Mani was ott, I mean comm'on what was that "I won't do surgery without my ishuu.". while apparently they are still friends😆.

Not watched but ruhi lost her charm when she started family planning for her parents and ordering people around always so i can imagine how annoying pihu can be. anyway to be honest a 7 year old is a lot calmer but they made ruhi behave like a 4 year old when they felt like it.
