Why singer Shaan is not so popular compare to the even mediocre newbies like ankit , atif or arijit ...ankit arijit are way more popular then shaan ...even in 2000 Sonu Nigam and Udit Narayan were more popular voices ...Shaan is very underrated

Shaan not popular? I thought he had/has his share of popularity. He was more into album's & dey did well.

Before opening your topic, when I saw the title, Shaan was the name that came to my mind.. He is just so underrated

Shaan as a musical sensation was not that much popular compare to his fellow singers ...90 most popular was SPB, kumar sanu , udit narayan, abhijeet ...late 90's and the 2000 period most popular voice was Sonu Nigam used be regular voices of salman , shahrukh at that time udit too was there till 2004...but Shaan use to get some songs here and there he was not that much used too despite of having so great romantic voice ... even today he can sing arijit songs better then arijit but his luck is not with him :(

* Tbh Arijit is an amazing, amazing singer. It isn't really about luck here. Plus am sure Shaan gets offers too so it's fine.

arijit is a good singer but his voice is not made for playback singing kinda not a melodious or what we say in hindi/urdu Khoobsurat awaz ...he made SRK look so bad in geruwa and even when he sing for akshey it didnt sound well on him ... he have a raw tone like atif

^ Uh no he has an amazing voice which is mellifluous & I don't think there are people who would agree with your POV but different strokes for different folks, I reckon.
