Raman closed the door of room and started walking with mihir .He was smiling like a mad man.
M- Raman u always come to see her before leaving .
R- yeah ,she take promise from me that I will meet her daily before going home.
M- but what's the need ,she is always asleep when you go to her room.
R- but she knows my touches .if someday I don't show up she will behave grumpily and angrily with everybody .
M- why somuch affection towards a patient .
R- I m just doing my duty .
Saying so both friends walked to their respective cars and drove to their homes .
In the night ,Raman was lying in his bed trying to sleep,but like every day today also his all mind was filled with the thoughts of the patient,ishita iyer .
Ishita and her family had met a severe accident six months back .Her parents and brother ,all were going to to see a girl for her brother bala ,but a heavy loaded truck hit them and all were injured badly .Her parents and brother died on the spot and she was brought alone to the hospital .Besides being severely injured she was saved but in vain ,she has witnessed three deaths with her eyes at the same time that to of her dearones ,her mind couldn't afford that much stress and due to that she lost her mental balance .She was not totally mad ,but was too scared of everything ,she wants care love and affection like a kid .At first she was scared of everything and everyone but due to Raman's medication now she is calm but almost has become a kid ,now she has friendship with everyone mostly she was found of raman as He always use to fulfill her weird wishes and raman does this because he very well knew her mental condition .
He eyes got teary thinking about ishita that such a cute girl is all alone in world ,nobody is there who can take care of her .
Then he recalled the happenings of the day .Raman after entering the asylum went to her room to check her ,when he saw her sitting in the middle of bed with a angry pout .He walked to her and called her to him ,she shook her head negatively and spoke " I m angry ".
R- why .
I- I don't want to eat this chapati but I want idli made by amma but this naina ( nurse ,whom raman espicially had appointed to take care for ishita only) is not giving me .you told that you are my friend na ,If you are my friend then scold her .
Raman glanced at the nurse who was making a " now what to do " face .
Raman immediately took out his wallet gave money to a wardboy and send him to near by restaurant to bring idli for her .After a while the ward boy return and gave that parcel to him.Raman served it nicely in the plate and took it to ishita .she was so happy and contented after eating the idli.
Raman ruffled his hairs and thought that why he is thinking about her .now a days all his days and nights are spend in her thoughts ,why everything around him is looking so beautiful these days.After a while we sliped in deep slumber lost in her thoughts .

Next day Raman went to her room and couldn't found her there .He called naina and asked about ishita ,she denied that she don't know where ishita has gone .Raman panicked a little as she never goes anywhere ,she only knows way to his cabin and nothing else .They all were searching for her when they heard some choes from outside ,they all ran out thinking may be ishita will also be there ,but they were shocked to see the scary site .Ishita was in terrace and was walking in the railing holding a rose flower and she was throwing its petals one by one saying she loves me ,she loves me not .Raman was shocked as well as scared witnessing the sight ,everybody was calling her but she was so busy in her work that she was not listening to them .
Raman at first made everybody silent stating that if ishita will listen them and will see down ,she will loose her balance and will fall .Everybody listened him and become a must spectator while raman ran to terrace ,he opened the door and went to ishita ,she was still lost in her work .Raman called her ,she turned back to see him ,in this all she lost her balance and was about of fall ,but raman was quick enough to catch her in neck of time .she landed on his chest ,He wounded his arms and hugged her tightly ,she also hid herself in him as she was shivering due to fear .ishra were hugging each other tightly fearing unexpected ,their heart was beating was and eyes were teary ,both were thinking ,what if she would have fallen .

Raman took her to her cabin .He gave her medicine and patted her to sleep as she was not in a condition to talk or listen anything.Aafter sometime when ishita woke raman went to her and asked how come she was in terrace .ishita thought for a while and spoke "Gardener uncle was having many flowers ,I asked for it ,he gave me some and I went to terrace to play as that boy was doing in the movie yesterday .He was plucking the petals one by one and saying she loves me ,she loves me not .I was also doing same thing ,but he is a cheater ,they are cheater they didn't tell that at I will fall.what if ,if you would not be there ".
Listening to her sudden question ,raman got pale thinking what have been the result if he wouldn't had caught her instantly.He again engulf her in his arms in a bonecrushing hug,she also kept her head on his chest and closed her eyes .Soon she was in deep slumber lestening to the rythem of his heartbeat .He tugged her in bed and went out .Raman ruffled his hairs ,he thought her question again and his reaction .

Raman was sitting in his cabin and was in deep thought .He was trying to figure out why he was so worried when he didn't found ishita in her room , why he is having a fear of loosing her ,why he is taking somuch care of her ,why he is somuch attached to her .

R( st)- m I falling for her ,no no .I can't she is only a patient for me . I should keep myself away from this crap of love .I can't fall for a petient ,I m doctor .I have a long way to go .
From that day raman always tries to be away from her .To help in his decision he got a job of visiting doctor in Sydney mental asylum.Now he was so relieved of the thought that he can forget her slowly .This time he was being selfish ,never thought about ishita's condition .Raman was about to leave India but deep under his heart ,he was so worried about ishita.
He has not gone to hospital from last to days as he has taken leave for completing all the documents before leaving India .He was all set for leaving ,but something was stopping him ,he was not happy .He was getting bad vibes that something is not right ,but before he can figure out he received nainas call .Naina informed that ishita is not well from two days ,she had quit eating and sleeping .She is not even talking to anyone ,only thing she is doing is crying like anything sitting in the corner .
That was it raman couldn't stop himself ,he reached the asylum as soon as he can .He ran to her room and found her in same condition which naina informed .Raman went to ishita sat beside her ,caress her cheeks and asked " why are you crying ishu ".
Ishita raised her eyes and saw him ,she hugged him tight and spoke between her cries " you were not there ,from many days .nobody is there to listen to me ,talk to me ,I was all alone .amma ,appa ,Anna they are also not coming to meet me and now you also is not there .my days were not spending ,I had nothing to do instead of crying ".

- and why you had quit eating .
I- because I want to die .
R( shocked )- why .
I- because naina told that you are going away from here .Amma ,appa ,Anna has already gone and you are also going ,what will I do living alone .its better I should die .

Raman couldn't control himself listening yo this and he also started crying ,thinking that how much she depends on him .How can he be so self centered to think only about himself besides being a doctor .After a while he noticed that her hicupps were gone ,he tore her from himself and saw that she was sleeping peacefully in his embrace .He played her in bed and went the CMO of hospital and submitted a application that he want to take ishita along with him .
After reading the application CMO denied stating that its against rules and regulations of asylum ,they can only send patients along with their family and relatives .Raman tried to convince him that he will come back after some days but he denied .Raman thought something for a while and then he left the place .
Next day CMO was sitting in his cabin when he heard a knock on the door ,he called the person .it was Raman,behind him was ishita in red Punjabi suit ,her partition was filled with sindoor and a mangalsutra was adorning her neck .Raman wounded his arms around her shoulder and spoke " sir she is now ishita raman bhalla ,can I take her with me now ."
CMO smiled and said " now no rules and regulations can stop you."
Raman bid adieu to him ,and ishra went out from CMO's cabin ,talking and smiling.
