That awkward moment when you're trying to find a quiet place on campus to watch the episode but your friend is outta class early and wants to get food. Trust me guys I love food as much as Raman Mamu but I was like omg my episode LOL. And then the trains decided to take twice as much time to get me home like #rude. Anywho I finally did get to watch the episode and omfg is all I can say right now.
So yesterday there were a lot of posts about Eva Grover being replaced and I didn't watch the episode till like 3am so I couldn't post them but I shall include some stuff from yesterday's episode here and my full opinion on the change. At first it was like omg what and then I was like maybe it's because Anita has disappeared lately and so she wasn't happy with the role BUT BeingAnonymous posted a link to her talking about her departure. Eva underwent surgery and thus couldn't do shoots and even though the production house didn't inform her about her replacement she handled the entire situation so sweetly and professionally, I truly truly hope that she can return. I've discussed this with Areeba and Meghana before- everything ties back to Leela and Anita. Although the plot line is focusing on the trio right now and how the enmity between the Taneja and Luthra women shaped their lives, I do indeed hope one day the show comes full circle and there is a reveal of how Leela was innocent. Anita Luthra is a vital character in this show, it all began with HER revenge and she is the major catalyst in Yuvraj's downfall (will discuss later) and Eva Grover did a brilliant job at bringing her to life. I enjoyed Anjali's scenes yesterday, she really got the Anita look down in terms of costume and all but she just has a more positive feel to her. Anita was pure evil and revenge crazy, and Eva did so much justice to the layers that came with the character and so she will be very missed from my side. The production house chose a good replacement though, she's doing a good job and I'm enjoying her scenes even tho I miss Zain and Eva's mother son chemistry!
The second awkward moment of today was when I was looking more forward to MahiRaj scenes than Twinj lmao. I'm gonna fangirl/freak out about Twinj soon but like omg ever since Shri's performance in the pool/revelation episode, I've been so excited for Mahi's character development and the confrontational scenes between Mahi and Yuvraj. Yesterday, I was hella proud of her for returning his treatment. She didn't fall for his suicide bs and omfg did you guys notice the look on Yuvi's face when she grabbed the knife from his hand and he was like OMG is she really gonna stab me?! *LOL* and then the way she pushed him onto the bed, like yes go Mahi! He has thrown you so much, making you so vulnerable and now it's time he deserves a taste of his own medicine. Shri and Zain did not disappoint my expectations today, the scene did my feels justice and I have to say the episode belonged to them!
I remember my very first post on this forum and even then my big question was about Yuvi's love/obsession for Twinkle. I have said this quite a few times but when you spend so much time with someone, regardless of your intention, you develop a soft spot for them and that's exactly what happened for Yuvi, only it manifested into this belief that Twinkle belongs to him and his junoon is what is the center of his life now. I remember before Zain entered the show again, he said that his character had left because the track was dragging and he was getting "too evil" and now the writers were adding layers to this character. I feel like the layers have always been there. Yuvi is incapable of loving someone without it being twisted or selfish and the only person to blame is Anita. It's a parent/guardian's responsibility to teach/show the child what love is. Twinkle and Yuvi had a 7 year relationship meaning they prolly started liking each other when they were 14 considering Twinkle was 21 at the beginning of the show. My little brother is 14 and so I can clearly see how easy it could be to train/manipulate a young adult and that's exactly what Anita has done. Yuvi has only associated love with darker things like revenge and need, and even Twinkle's self sacrificing love wasn't enough to teach him how to "properly love." And now, he truly is unraveling in all the worse ways with him not accepting that he cannot break Twinj and not realizing how he is destroying his life. I pity Yuvraj Luthra and sympathize with him for his poor upbringing.
Mahi didn't have the best upbringing either and that's why that huge Jhatka was so important; yesterday she agreed to meet Yuvi for her brainless father but she realizes that Yuvi never liked her and only used her for his advantage and this is why Mahi is growing on me so fast. She really is making her place as a powerful Tanjea woman. Today I freaking loved her. This is the same girl who wanted to consummate their marriage and now she is disgusted by his touch. Yuvraj took an already insecure girl and broke her more but that's it, Mahi can only rise up from her and rise she did with that DHAMAKEDAR SLAP OMG. Yuvi is cheap we already know. Twinkle never allowed him to touch her and now he thinks Mahi just wants physical attention, he's doing the same thing he did all along- play on her insecurities only now he can't hide his true intentions. When Mahi tells him he is worthless and cannot love or be loved I remembered Twinkle telling him the same. When Twinkle said it, it hurt him. When Mahi said it, it angered him. His ego is hurt and that is his biggest shield so now we know Yuvraj is gonna do something big. Zain and Shri were phenomenal, loved em both!
Also, Yuvi has been playing with fire for some time now- with the torch thingy and today with the candle, he's gonna get burned baby.
Aw shit, Yuvi looked so broken at thoughts of Twinj SR, Zain I can't with your eyes Yaar. He admits all he has done, all in his junoon and still he wasn't able to acquire what he wants. It's interesting because Yuvi has been taught to possess, not to earn and Anita screwed up his idea of love so much, I really wonder if there's any point of return for him.
BTW AREEBA do you like work for the show or something?!?! As soon as the promo came out you said this track would focus on physical intimacy and the Twinj-Yuvi equation and dude I'm like sitting here typing all baffled cause you were so right omggg.
That entire sequence was so flipping amazing I'm done. I thought it would he hella awkward that Yuvi would be imagining this but I managed to ignore that because Yuvi's pain, his smile at seeing Twinkle and then Kunj coming in between and then I cry because OMG SIDMIN ARE SO HOT LIKE MY PHONE ALMOST BURNED DOWN JU KNOW THEY HAVE SUCH SIZZZLING CHEMISTRY. Seriously they are so sexy damn man the white sari, Sid in a white shirt, they were both so gorg and like every moment of intimacy between them was so in sync and beautiful like wow. When Twinkle was sitting in Kunj's lap and he was caressing her I basically died. Also, Twinkle really loves pushing Kunj onto the bed LMAO. Everything was perfect. Sidmin and Zain are perfect.
I'm gonna imagine that it wasn't the cut that made Twinkle cry so much but the fact that Yuvi tried to get intimate with her. I wanted to see more on Kunj finding out about that and all but chalo.

Ughhh my heart I can't, the way Yuvi ran for the food and remembered their moments. His biggest fear is Twinkle belonging to someone else and once she is intimate with Kunj he can't have her anymore. Love for him is different, he doesn't understand that Twinkle is already not his and the day they do consummate, Yuvi is going to lose his sanity completely. Seeing him cry made me sad, as much as I despise him for his actions I despise Anita even more because she is the reason for this. She made him pretend to love Twinkle and now he can't snap out of it and omg I'm a bundle of feels.
Precap: the same FH where Kunj was blamed for trying to get intimate with Twinkle, now Yuvi will attack there and hurt her once again...
