If you guys don't know already, let me just say that I actually have a soft spot for Yuvi. As much as I want to hate and despite him, I just can't. I don't know if it's his characterisation or the fact that I love Zain's portrayal of him but Yuvraj Luthra is someone who leaves an impact on you.
I know many people have discussed Yuvi's imaginary sequence of Kunj and Twinkle's SR so I wont ramble on about that too much. I just want to point out a few things that really stood out to me.
1. When imaginary Twinkle walked into the room in the white saree and placed herself on the bed. Yuvi's slight smile killed me. There was nothing malicious or derogatory about the way he slowly stepped towards her, it was genuine. *my heart*
2. The pain and anger was remarkably portrayed by Zain! I love this guy! Seriously the song couldnt have been a better choice because, in the literal sense, Yuvi has not been able to get over Twinkle or forget about her.
Ok moving on now, in the last scene where Anita brings him food. I actually pitied him. He doesnt even realise what he's doing to himself when it comes to Twinkle. Anita is so right, he doesnt think clearly and definitely doesnt look at the consequences of his actions.
What I absolutely loved about this scene was YUVI'S FLASHBACKS. Omg feels. I've never shipped YuvLe so dont worry, I'm not advocating their past together. But I adored how he remembered his promises and words to her. Ones that he failed to keep to her. I actually felt bad for him. He does care for Twinkle and that too quite deeply, they were together for 7 years and the attachment is still there for him. I dont know if I would call it love though.
Another thing is the rejection. He already lost Twinkle due to his own foolishness. But to lose the second sister too must've really hurt his ego. Twinkle was Miss. Amritsar, the girl was in demand. Mahi, on the other hand, is somewhat a plain Jane. So being rejected by Mahi, of all people, really hurt the guy where it hurts the most. The confrontation between Mahi and Yuvi was awesome. I can see her character moving on and growing stronger from here. Yuvi however has now hit rock bottom. He's lost his wife Mahi, his junoon Twinkle, his place in the Sarna house and now even his mother is getting fed up of the stupidity he engages in when it comes to Twinkle.
Basically, I really do feel bad for him. He's grown up only knowing revenge and winning and not being in control of the situation now is killing him. He will be the reason for his own downfall as you all said.
