Ishita went behind the lecturer.she went and stand in front of him innocently, while he was glaring her.
Lecturer- what was that ishu.
Ishita- what.
Lecturer- why u beat that boy.
Ishita- he was harassing a girl.
Lecturer- so what,do u think u r mother Teresa that u help everyone.
Ishita- not mother Teresa but kiran bedi.u know I can't see injustice. I just want to kill those scoundrels who try to molest any girl.pathetic guys.she said making a dirty face.
Lecturer came to her and sit beside her.
Lecturer- I know kanna,u don't like injustice but u r a girl. Be like one.being a tamilian girl u shouldn't fight around.
Ishita- but appa,neglecting the injustice is also not fair naa.u only taught me to fight for right then how can I remain silent .she said cutely.
Appa- I know that kanna.and I am proud of u .but if ur amma came to know about ur this mischief. She will not spare us.he said smiling.
Ishita- I know my great app will save me.she said side hugging her appa,who is her lecturer too.
Appa kissed her forehead and said- OK I will handle it.but I want something from u in return.
Ishita- what appa.
Appa- I want u to befriend Raman,and know him well.
Ishita- why appa.
Appa- because I fixed ur marriage with him.
What,she said widing her eyes.
Appa- yes kanna.me and Raman's dad fixed ur marriage with him when u guys were too small.
Ishita- aiyyoo appa,bal vivah(child marriage).she said with a cute pout.
Appa smiled and said- no kanna not bal vivah.me and his dad were best of friends.so we fixed ur marriage. I won't pressurize u,but I thing I wanna say that Raman is a gem of person.u will be very happy with him.
Ishita- but appa,I am just 19.he is much elder then me.he look like an uncle ji.very serious and very khajur.
Appa- stop calling him khajur.he is very sweet person.even after u make fun of him.he was smiling.and he is not serious but responsibilities make him serious.he is a very responsible man.he make himself successful and settle down his siblings. And after fulfilling his responsibilities he came to finish his studies.so I want u to help him in study,respect him and settle down with him.r u getting it.
Ishita- no appa,I am not going to do any such thing. And how can u force me to marry him.he is not tamilian also.u choose bala jeeju for akka but choosing a Punjabi boy for me.u don't love me naa.she said faking tears.
Appa- I chosed best for vandu and thats what I am doing for u also.Raman is the best for u.he will be like ur shadow,he will protect u against all odds and never leave ur side.no matter what. Trust ur appa.
Ishita was lost in appa's words and said- OK give me a day.I will tell u tomorrow what I think about him.
Appa- OK kanna. Now go back to ur class.and don't call him khajur again.
Ishita nodded like an obedient kid but deep inside she is the most shaitan bachcha.thinking of ways to escape from this marriage thing.
After that she went back to her class and saw he was sitting there all alone.while everyone was busy in chatting with their friends.she saw him thoroughly and found he is in video conferencing.
Ishita- pathetic man.talking business in class also.everyone is busy in chatting and he is doing work.bore kahin ka.I am not going to marry this bore khajur bhalla. I will surely get a way to come out of this mess.she made a dirty face and went to him.
He questioned her with his eyes ,that what he(lecturer) said.she didn't answer ,just went showing him her tongue.he smiled at her childish act and resume his work.
Soon ishita was in front of her house.her mother was a housewife and always ready to scold ishita .coz she is very careless and clumsy girl.her room is always messed up and madhu dislike her clothes very much.she always sew the jeans she cut with blade but in vain,ishita always cut it again.ishita very slowly entered the house ,but her amma saw her.
Madhu- ishu come here.
Ishita- amma,I am very tired.wanna sleep.
Madhu- I told u to come ,so come quietly.
Ishita came to her mother obediently. Madhu make her sit on the floor near her and start opening her braids.
Ishita- what u r doing amma.I took so much effort to braid them.
Amma-shut up kanna,what u have done to ur long beautiful hair. Why can't u braid a single braid.what's the need of so many braids.and how u get so much time to do all this in morning.u wake up late also.
Ishita- I braid my hair once in a week amma.she said very calmly.
Amma-aiyyoo murugan,u comb ur hairs once in a week.ishu I am telling u ,if u keep on doing this,ur hair will be finished soon.and then no boy.
Ishita- I know no boy will marry me.that's what I want.I don't wanna get married.I just want to live with my amma appa.I am not going to marry any khajur.
Amma-that we will decide later.now let me put oil in ur hair and don't u dare to try that clumsy hairstyle again.
Ishita- as if I am going to listen.no amma,I will do as per my wish.and I know u will not scold me,because I am ur kanna naa.she said cutely.
Amma smiled and said- haan kanna,but now u r a big girl.behave like one.see ur akka.she is too well mannered. Never wore jeans but u wear jeans that to torn jeans.its not good kanna.
Ishita- ohho amma,I am feeling sleepy.let me sleep.saying so she put her head in her amma's lap.and close her eyes.amma kissed her forehead lovingly.
On the other hand,Raman went back home to see his mom indulge in some work.he ran to her and said- how many times I told u not to stress urself maa.I am here to take care of u.and don't u dare to do any work.
Toshiji caressed his face and said-how much u will work puttar.u established ur business,now came to finish ur education, still u take care of me,ur work,ur family.everything, I feel so proud that u r my son.don't know what I have done if u r not with me.
Raman- ho gaya,aaj ka praising session khatam.good now rest maa.I will make tea and snacks after freshening up.
Toshiji- why don't u keep a help for us.how much work u will do.
Raman- coz I love to take care of my mother.I can't leave her on someone's mercy.now stop talking,just rest.saying so he make her lay down and pat her to sleep.soon she was in deep slumber.his mother wasn't much old but responsibilities and trouble made her sick.
After finishing their daily work at last ishra where in their bed and was thinking about each other.but thoughts were complete opposite .
Raman- (st)don't know why but I am not able to forget her.she was looking just uber cute to me.I think I have fallen hopelessly in love with her.is it possible to fall for someone so easily.that to me the famous rude and mighty RKB. I smiled when she called me khajur where as I would have killed if someone try to make fun of me.what u r doing to me ishu.he smiled at her thought and slept happily.
Ishita- (st)how can appa choose such a boring guy for me.I mean he is such a khajur. Pure bore,hansta bhi hai toh lagta hai ehsaan kar raha hai(his smile too look fake),he is boring but bit handsome also.and I like his cute dimples.no no ishu,u have to be firm on ur decision.u have to escape from this marriage.but how,appa says he is the best.I got an idea,what if I will prove that he is not best for me.yaay,I will be saved.good ,I will do this only.thinking so she close her eyes and slept happily.
Next morning,ishita got ready wearing a brown tee with jeans.braided her hair in same hairstyle. She woke up early just to braid her hair in many braids. She applied a thick layer of kajal in her eyes and then went to her appa.
Ishita- appa I thought about him.and think he deserves a fair chance.so I decided that I will help him in studies.give him a month time.and after that I will decide.
Appa smiled and said- OK kanna.
Ishita- but I have a condition. If in this one month,he will have to pass my every exam and if he couldnt do that then I will not marry him OK.
Appa- I know that day will never come.u urself will tell one day that he is the one for u.
Ishita- don't be over confident appa.
Appa- its not over confidence but confidence on Raman.
Ishita- so its a deal.u will not force me to marry him if he didn't pass my every exams.
Appa- deal.
Ishita went from there smiling.
Ishita- (st)in this one month I will trouble to so much Mr khajur bhalla that u urself will ran away from me.good luck mr khajur bhalla.she smirked thinking this.
Appa- (st) I know what u r thinking kanna,but I am ur father.I know u will start loving him in this one month.only Raman can change u.good luck kanna.
