ranveer has never denied anything about his background, he has spoken about his dad being a businessman, he has said his family live in a apartment complex in bandra, he drives around in his jaguar, he isn't hiding anything, and he has never denied being related to sonam or anil

the rumour he has denied is that his dad paid for his film, its such a silly rumour, if his did cud pay for a film then his dad wud hav opened his own production house to supply his son with movies instead of having him being launched by yrf

Sigh too true. Here even a legit rags to riches story like SRK's is diluted because no one is ready to believe that Shah was poor/middle class. Just because he had a good education & his parents knew a few people around town, they want to console themselves into believing that Shah had no dramatic change in his circumstance, but it was a flowery story meant to appeal to people.

Nope, he was pretty poor & has made it to a position where few mortals do, only & only by his canniess, sheer hard work & crazy determination.


Veer was born with a couple of silver spoons, and had it nowhere as tough in life materially, as others, but he is only & ONLY here because he is gifted, canny enough to market it & has a personality that is immensely hard to ignore. That's it. There is no other secret so people should stop trying to find one.


And no this isn't because Veer is one if my favourites, he is, but I would say this for any & everyone. I wish others did too.
