prap....i know this is late, but i promised and all credit to you for the words...

I wilt in her agony.
Her silent cries of pain deafen.
Her sparkling eyes, now glazed with tears, blind my vision.
Blind to the world now;
All I see are her desperate searching eyes.
Every tear she sheds falls on my heart.
Burns caustically, corroding it every second.
Her quiet, suppressed sobs pierce my peaceful world,
An everlasting echo that I can't help but hear.
All memory of the taste of happiness, excitement and pleasure wiped clean,
My tongue now recalls the bitter remnants of her agony, her desperation.
The rest of the world is dead to me, as I am dead to them.
Each second I live excluded from her world, threatens to suffocate me.
I wish for her to know how much I care
How much I love her,
How much it hurts me to see pain
How precious her tears are.
Emotions choke
Yet, I have to conceal
Every step towards her is a mile away from her.
I can't do anything but wait.

Awesome job Varti! I love it!!!! i didn't know same words could manage to sound so different when written as a poem as compared to prose.
